It’s challenging for female founders, especially older ones, since they usually don’t have the same networks to raise capital as younger ones do. Also, in general, younger guys are seen as “ahead of the curve” if they are aggressive, but if a woman is just as pushy, she is a “b*tch”. Also, a good deal of women are afraid to ask for help or don’t get offered help, making the failure rate higher.
