A shocking case from TCS Pune — where an HR named Neelam allegedly forced a 17-year TCS veteran to resign — right after she returned from #maternity leave 🤱💔
This employee was made to sit in a conference room for 2+ hours, while her newborn baby & husband waited outside the TCS gate.
Despite repeatedly requesting to feed her baby, #HRNeelam didn’t allow it until the employee finally gave in — and under pressure, resigned.
👉#HR Neelam, please read the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017 — which protects female employees returning from maternity leave.
No company policy stands above Indian Labour Law ⚖️
We believe TCS management may not have given written orders — but if this act was done at HR’s discretion, it’s beyond shameful.

📌 Case Summary:
👨💻 12 years experienced employee at TCS Pune resigned with another offer in hand.
⏳ Served 70–80 days notice period, was set to join new company in Pune.
🤝 TCS offered retention at the last moment, valuing his long association.
📝 In good faith, employee withdrew resignation and informed the new company he won’t join → offer revoked.
⚠️ Suddenly, TCS reversed decision, citing a new layoff policy → forced resignation.
❌ End result: Employee now has NO JOB — lost both opportunities due to TCS miscommunication.
💡 Our Concerns:
In one day, you can’t tell an employee “We will retain you” and then “We can’t retain you”.
This shows serious gaps in HR ethics, legal process, and employee communication.
Such actions damage employee careers, family stability, and TCS’s reputation.
