Divan: Rules of the game cannot be changed belatedly. Info brochure for NEET PG was released on Feb 23, 2021 and registration commenced on that date. last date of registration was March 23, 2021. rules cannot be changed surely after this. Then it was postponed by 4 months

Original NEETPG date was 10 January 2021. Court hearing date is 6 January 2022. They'll define criteria for EWS, what if people have to take new EWS certi? That will add some more time before counselling. Counselling takes at least 2 months. NEETPG 2022 is on 12th March, 2022😂

Seats in GN/UR almost halved to accommodate the increased reservation in OBC. This is literally snatching seats away from one and handed on a platter to another.

Either do away with reservation completely or increase seats proportionately.

At places where the socially backward have to be uplifted they should be. But when merit is in question there should be nothing beyond that. No one opposes to eliminating social backwardness. But when you talk about equality you cannot forget equity. #reservationfreeneetpg

There have been discussions on giving incentive to NEETPG aspirants with grace marks which as a teacher I believe will be very difficult to fairly implement considering the non uniform nature of healthcare infrastructure & policy in India, this move should be discouraged

1. In a high stakes exam, incentive based on a certificate of service has potential to be misused
2. Even if willing, Not all doctors will get equal chances to work in Covid care
3. Not all doctors can work in COVID wards dt health conditions

Every medical student in this country has the will to serve his country. But the government must ensure that they are duly regarded for the same. Giving grace marks will make the exam unfair and destroy it's merit based criteria.
