And we’re also talking about the cloth like bags that stores are now selling as an alternative. I’m not sure the material exactly but it’s not cotton, it’s not as sturdy either. @SafewayCanada bags even say “hand wash”. Definitely not a sustainable option.

I have a sticker on our mailbox and I like to think it’s like the block parent signs of the 80s/90s.

As a queer kid growing up in a small town I remember very distinctly the few overt signs of queer culture around me and how it made me feel not so alone.

I find salons overwhelming - blow dryers, chatter, music - wearing loops still allow conversation/questions if needed from the stylists but muffle the overwhelming noise.

I used to leave appts exhausted; not now.
