The game is now in final testing and physical release planning. #videogames#indiegames#scifi#horror
With the #ngage update I closed the circle, #ps1, #saturn, #n64, #dreamcast and #3do are all running on the latest version of the engine. Now I will fix a few more bugs and work on opening the patreon hopefully before the end of September

@SuperSisi Love this game. It's fun as a chill solo game and as a 2 player game as well. Have the Columbus Circle release from 2017 and the LRG English release from 2024.
@SuperSisi That's quite interesting! Reminds me of how Darth Sidious came up with the idea for the Death Star in Star Wars (according to Family Guy lol):
If you enjoy physical games for retro systems that no one can take away from you, give us a try:
- We produce new games for Lynx, Jaguar, and Nuon
- We carry new old stock for 2600, Lynx, and Nuon
- We carry Evercade and My Arcade products
Physical for the win!
Some more improvements for #ngage. The raster has been improved a bit more and now music and FX are also playing in the background. More details about the process in a post below.

Did you know Songbird and @atari teamed up to reprint Tempest 3000 for the #NuonDVD last year?
This excellent Tempest port by Jeff Minter is only available on physical; you won't find it anywhere else. Get your copy while supplies last at #MidwestGamingClassic this weekend!

Hey everyone! I’d like to clarify a few things that I see people asking a lot:
Flex Funding Mode
The DreamColor Plus campaign on Catarse uses the Flex model. This means it doesn’t need to reach the full goal for the PCB to become a reality. All development costs were already covered out of our own pockets, and the board itself is already finished.
The crowdfunding campaign is mainly to help us order the correct amount of components and 3D-printed shells. So anyone who supports the project will automatically receive a controller.
Why not Kickstarter?
Unfortunately, platforms like Kickstarter are not available for countries like Brazil. That’s a shame, because anyone familiar with gaming history knows that Sega had one of its strongest fanbases here. Because of that, people outside Brazil often miss out on many amazing projects.
Why not sell a complete controller instead of just the PCB and front case?
We ran several quotes, and just the mold for a Dreamcast controller was estimated at around R$100,000 (roughly $20,000 USD / €18,000 EUR). Since this is a fan-made project and not backed by a large company, selling the PCB with the front case was the only way to make it viable.
What about the price?
Both the PCB and the 3D shell were designed entirely by us from scratch. However, all components must be imported from China. Unfortunately, in practice, nearly half the cost of each part goes to taxes. We did the best we could within Brazil’s reality.
We’ve also added English text to the campaign.
Where can I see the controller in action?
If you want to see the controller working, we recommend checking out these YouTube channels: Costenaro Play, Nai Adventure, DrasgonDigger, and Angelo 128bits.
Each of these channels (part of the project team) has a prototype and shares videos testing games and showing more details.
Technical details
* The top section of the controller is still being tested to be fully enclosed. More updates coming soon.
* And yes, despite some skepticism, the second analog stick is real. If you’re curious, look up the Phanter DC controller on the Sega Retro website. The Dreamcast always had native support for two analog sticks, and some games were already designed for it.
* There’s also the Twin Stick controller, which works more like two D-Pads and is compatible with the DreamColor Plus.
We’re also appearing on several podcasts in Brazil to talk about the project. And if anyone would like to invite us to English-speaking podcasts, we’re open to it!
Feel free to ask any other questions.

JagFest is returning to Rochester, MN, on Aug 21-22. Hosted by Songbird.
Even though this is primarily an in-person event, there will be an option for virtual attendees including a livestream.
Mark your calendars now, and watch for more details coming soon.

LodgeNet N64 and GameCube controllers working on real Super Nintendo!! Straight wire! 🤯
Ends up that the recently dumped, mysterious SNES dev cart rom with a GameCube controller displayed on screen, is indeed a controller tester rom used to test LodgeNet controllers.
I decompiled the rom and discovered that it was bit banging a custom controller protocol over the normal controller’s data and latch pins.
Hey @USPS@USPSHelp, can you please approve my claim?
I brought the crushed item to my local Post Office for evaluation, but I don't have the original shipping container. The customer recycled the shipping container before he sent the crushed item back to me (in a new package, of course). USPS has never asked for the original shipping container before, so it didn't occur to either of us to hang on to it.
I have however provided plenty of photos showing the severe damage to both the shipping container and the item inside.
I ship over a thousand packages with USPS each year. Most go through just fine. But in this case, it's very frustrating to not only have a crushed item delivered to a customer, but then have the insurance claim denied as well.
Can you please help?
The demo for my SNES game "Till & Hat" is now available!
It's a fact-paced 2D action game with platforming, melee and ranged combat.
Load it into an emulator or flashcart and you're good to go.
Link is in the replies.
Any feedback is welcome. Have fun!
My Tsukhime Trial Edition (月姫 体験版) finally arrived, one of only 50 copies in the world. Only to discover that US Customs had removed all the bubble wrap and physically destroyed the floppy disk. Will file a report but literally crying right now😭
