@BobirMardonov Zero to One

You shouldn’t have read the book that you don’t want to read again.

Exploring something new…

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@MKBHD The algorithm is a neural network, which a black box. We cannot know why and how made a certain decision.

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@erenbali @3blue1brown Wow, is that the reason why he called his channel so?

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@radialpro @grok How tall is this statue? @grok

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@BenMildenhall @drfeifei This is huge for great many things!

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@paulg How interesting, never thought of it that way

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@Tristanrhee3 Agree. You need to create a special and distinct environment for startups to succeed

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@LightwheelAI @huggingface This is huge! But after a couple years, we as an industry might look at it as a drop from the ocean. Exciting times ahead!

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@YannDarwin i.e., China produces the best cars in the world, right?

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@naval The former is much more likely because the potential ambitious person always finds something to gain.

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@paulg How do I know whether I’m a good person and the other person is a good judge of character?

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@paulg Founder in thinking mode

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

The hardest part of hardware is software

[Ramtin Shahzanian @42Ramtin]

I got into @ycombinator
I'm 18, solo founder, and 3 years ago was studying 10th grade at a random city in Iran (Qazvin, love it).

In Iran, I had to build my own VPN to access UK curriculum material, then got myself into a boarding school in Oxford, paid the tuition by selling my AI thing, and then got a full-ride to study AI at Rice University.

After I got in the US I did some more things that led to Magma.

I don't have much to say for advice as I'm unlearning a lot recently. However, as an observation, the laws of physics seem to be flexible enough that you can simply do things; anything in fact. Human brain just evolutionarily underestimates that flexibility.

PS: Repost and I'll send you the full application that got me in.

@ErenChenAI So impressive

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@elonmusk Right now: Natural language -> programming language -> machine language

In the future: Natural language -> machine language

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@paulg It seems it knows whom it is talking to

[doniyordev @doniyordev]

@karpathy It seems video processing needs a completely new architecture, which would have profound affects for robotics and pocket assistants as well.
