@elonmusk The truly disturbing thing is that many socialists today may well consider the prosperous, well-lit South Korea in this picture to be polluting, over-populated, and oppressive of nature.
Truly, many of these people hate humanity and progress.
@FenrirDesigns@turnedchristian Porn isn't a "sexuality". It's a complete hijacking of normal, healthy sexuality. You might as well say, "I'd rather be with a man who is comfortable being 400lbs than one who is trying to eat healthy and be fit. So if my guy wants to scarf Twinkies, I don't care."
Ick.
@MikedAlamo@turnedchristian Yup. The question isn't whether he sins in this (or other ways). If he's not looking at porn anymore he's probably still struggling with lust temptations in other ways (me!). The key here is confession and repentance versus making peace with his sin and hiding it.
@turnedchristian Or he at least is battling seriously with this temptation. Many men have a history with porn going into early adolescence that creates very hard to break habits. He should be honest and getting help and accountability. If he's not, beware.
@CTmagazine "gendered language"? You mean like Spanish, German, or Greek? Pretty sure things aren't changing there and there's nothing new to figure out. Y'all are crazy.
Oh... pronouns. Yikes, even crazier than i thought.
Just say no to choose-your-own-pronoun games, y'all.
Poverty is far more dangerous to children than respiratory viruses.
The Covid restrictions created far more global poverty and thus killed far more children than Covid ever could have.
@autocorrect2_0 It's more than that. God *is* doing exactly that. He has a way and is carrying it out. Or did you not notice that whole Incarnation and Resurrection bit?
If you don't like His merciful, generous, and gracious plan, tough. He's still God; you've got to make peace with it.
@TexasLionel@1deaman@ScottAniol Cool. Too many hear "theonomy" or "christian nationalism" and just assume that means "theocracy", but those can be very different. Sure, some CN folks would want a church-run state, but most don't. We just want very christian magistrates, not minister-magistrates.
@TexasLionel@1deaman@ScottAniol Agreed. I am against theocracy. Church should not run state. There are three main spheres of authority: church, state, and family, and each should be distinct, tho influential on each other.
But the goal should be for them *all* to be built on Christian values.
@ShepardMurdock@TheGoosecast @AlsoACarpenter Oh, i dunno, how about most hospitals, universities, orphanages, and soup kitchens. Or maybe abolition, suffrages, and civil rights?
And going off the rails? Well, secularism, the sexual revolution, marxism and friends, and really just the same old cycles of sinful man.
@AlexBerenson Children aren't supposed to wear well-fitted N95 masks, which i bet this one was. And not even adults should wear them for prolonged periods.
Take the pointless, awful mask off of her. She'll feel a hell of a lot better.
@PapaGamer@Prolife_Sam My parents did this around age 62s. A few years later, my father began an affair. He's abandoned my retirement age mother, without enough resources to care for herself, so she has to work again.
I can get behind separate beds. Separate bedrooms? Not without EXTREME cause.
@PerfInjust@ScottAniol Defining "applied consistently" is the catch. If you mean "applied everywhere", then you're ignoring places where God has given such powers to the state, i.e. inalienable rights, "the sword", etc.
