@RBlockMD I went and reviewed this program.
1. They need a bachelors degree to enroll
2. The do RN classes & clinicals then BSN hours - graduate with 1000 clinical hours.
3. This is not a NP program.
4. It is a lot of education rolled into 15 months

@RBlockMD @Franks_23 @LinusHollister @fpapro1 @shycollie CPT Coding is changing as well, New codes for Digital E/M include physician & Mid-Levels, then they have one for MA's & Nurses.

I think we will see more of these codes. I doubt they will remake the wheel with the basic E/M codes, more likely to switch it to "Provider"

Their concerns were brushed off with uniform answers that avoided the subject. If the NPs want change they are going to have to make a lot of noise.

I have wondered why FNP's are in ERs to begin with, I read the lawsuit that was circulating about the FNP in the ER on her own, not catching a PE. It seems like a bad idea all the way around.

@TZankiMD @elizabe31950513 @CaryPigman Sorry. I was away from Twitter. I do believe there are more than capable NPs in the PC setting. I have also witnessed some who are not so capable.

There are patients who need care. That is the bottom line. I believe transition to autonomy is a win versus FPA from the start.

I believe this models an example of a quality education & experience-this shows commitment to the profession. Do you agree?
