I have found a great professional use for ChatGPT!
I usually avoid reading open-ended comments on my course evaluations. I'm sensitive to negative feedback and it's hard to identify common themes across 100s of responses.
Thankfully, ChatGPT can summarize them quickly... 🧵

@LPinFinance Great graphic! It would also be helpful to show what that makes the "effective" tax rate. Maddy's effective tax rate ends up being 11.68%, WAY lower than 22%.
This is a common misconception: People thinking your tax rate is FLAT therefore not wanting to earn more income because you’ll be in a higher tax bracket.

#AcademicTwitter what are your favorite resources for teaching students how to speak/present? I have "Even a Geek Can Speak" but I'm looking for videos or short articles/readings I can use in class.
#AdaLovelaceDay is observed annually on the second Tuesday in October to celebrate the impact of women in #STEM fields. Lovelace was a trailblazer in modern computing, publishing the first algorithm in 1843—a time when most women were not allowed to study science or math.
"I’ve decided free speech is worth the cost. I’m going to make sure some board full of rich guys doesn’t get to define what counts as free speech. Instead, just one rich guy will get to decide what counts as free speech: me."

Professors: How do you usually handle tipping in your classes? I write my venmo up on the board the first day so students can express their appreciation for an especially well-delivered lecture. Other ideas worked better for you?
