I’m eating lab grown meat the second it’s mass market ready. It’s biologically identical to animal meat and will reduce suffering more than any technology in the history of our planet as long as enough people switch over from factory farmed meats.
We’ve reached a point where eating tofu is seen as strange, but buying meat wrapped in plastic from a pig killed in a gas chamber is “normal.” If wanting a better world for animals is weird, maybe weird is the upgrade.
@RFowler74@phintastic3788@JetSetGent@Acyn Absolutely zero validity to your claims. Why is it hard for you to acknowledge that this was a massive leak by an unqualified administration? All I see is excuses and deflection from you unfortunately. Very sad!
Respectability in dress is stupid bc it masks the issue. Such judgements are rarely about the clothes, but rather about the bodies underneath. Would Trump and Vance acted politely if Zylenskyy showed up in a suit? Unlikely. No one raised an issue with Elon in t-shirt and topcoat.
Donald Trump is embarrassing the United States on the world stage. We are a country that stands up to dictators and fights for democracy.
Minnesota stands firmly with our allies in Ukraine.
To be clear: this entire thing went off the rails because Zelensky made the catastrophically offensive move of pointing out the reality that Putin broke a ceasefire in 2015 and that when Vance talks about diplomacy, he can’t explain how Putin is a trustworthy partner.
Zelensky simply spoke the truth, which Vance deemed totally unacceptable and offensive because he was trying to “litigate” the issue in front of the press.
And then it unraveled from there. Just wild.
President Trump’s simpering fealty to Vladimir Putin and Russia is embarrassing and dangerous.
Illinois stands with Ukraine, and so should the White House.
Trump berates Zelensky, the leader of a democratic country courageously fighting Russian imperialism, while he allies himself with Putin, a dictator who started the bloodiest European war in 80 years.
Sorry, President Trump. We believe in democracy, not authoritarianism.
Blumenthal: "What world is he living in? It is not only contrary to the facts and the truth but utterly despicable. A disgusting betrayal of a country that has bled and fought and died for freedom ... the president's surrender is pathetic and weak."
Mr. President, Ukraine did not “start” this war. Russia launched an unprovoked and brutal invasion claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. The Road to Peace must be built on the Truth.🇺🇸🇺🇦
“Russia Invades Ukraine in Largest European Attack Since WWII” @FoxNews (February 24, 2022) https://t.co/ra8R9PI9oj
Trump and his American oligarchs are now openly aligning themselves with Putin and his Russian oligarchs.
This Putin-Trump alliance means abandoning our allies, supporting authoritarianism and undermining our democratic traditions.
@GolfElkLife @BasS__80 @atrupar Interesting, I never see this sentiment echoed by maga when Putin has been in power for 20+ years, literally has killed off or jailed legitimate political rivals, but somehow it’s Ukraine that’s under tyranny.
The lack of intellectual integrity from you people is comical
More land animals than ever before are slaughtered for meat—
Global livestock numbers — tracked by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization since 1961 — have surged, with particularly large increases in the number of chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, and cows.
For many land animals, life is short and painful. Recent estimates indicate that globally, most animals are raised on factory farms. In the US, where better data and research are available, 99% of livestock is factory-farmed.

This is probably the largest moral catastrophe in human history. But it's OK, you see! Cuz they have feathers, hooves, and curly tails! Or something like that. 🙃
SWAN: DOGE and SpaceX employees are now working directly at the FAA and DoD, agencies that have billions of dollars of contracts with Musk's companies or regulate them. How is that not a conflict of interest?
TRUMP: Well I mean, I'm just hearing about it
