@RevRichardColes I quite agree. I know of another safeguarding issue that has not been properly acted on. There must be independent oversight of safeguarding - not just going forward, but reviewing cases in the past that have been mishandled.

The safeguarding and disciplinary measures of the Church of England are massively weighted in favour of male priests, and against victims of abuse. I see this every single day, not just in the case of Mike Pilavachi but many others too. 1/2
