@BenRabidoux This would cause so many individual owners of multiple properties, or foreign owners, to push their houses back into the market, transitioning house ownership back to households from investors. And we should lower income taxes in any event! Encourage work not housing speculation!

@BenRabidoux The property tax point would help alot. To refine it further, have a 1% federal property tax (based on MPAC values) on all residential real estate. Individuals then claim amounts paid for ONE primary residence as a credit on their income taxes.
