@trekonlinegame the adament class dreadnought from star trek tactical assault ds game would make for a great command ship for the fleet mechanic mentioned in the survey

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@martydudeVR Im waiting on someone to crack/hack the bootloader for the quest 3 to install and run steam os to turn it into a budget steam frame, after getting the frame itself

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@HardwareSteam Oh definitely Im sure it is one, just not entirely sure what got people thinking it would come out in a year if it did exist is the bigger question. as the steam deck 2 is the next planned piece of valve hardware

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@HardwareSteam Btw its not leakers or data miners talking about the oled frame model

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@HardwareSteam If a 3rd version of the steam machine released I'd be quite pissed but then again some people are thinking that an oled version of the frame will release in a year. Not entirely sure where they be getting that info but thats on them for waiting on something that might not exist

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@HardwareSteam Tbh I received my steam machine order email before the reservation queue email, though granted both were recived the same day

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@projectBabbleVR Thank God i wait on more info for the tracker for the frame before I ordered as this announcement didnt disappointed at all and I know what I'll be getting once its available

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@HardwareSteam Been waiting on more information on the babble tracker before ordering it for the frame and im very thankful I did as i would have missed out on this

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@UltimateOwnageX @slendidev @HardwareSteam Tbh im just waiting on someone to crack the bootloader for the quest 3 to be able to rip out horizon os and install steam os on my quest 3

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@KiStargazer @HardwareSteam Pretty sure it will but how long said stock will last is the bigger question

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@HardwareSteam Tbh I had this happen though it was before I got the purchase email for the steam machine when adding the funds to my steam wallet just for the machine and my bank was like 2 steps away from shutting down my card, unless I had them on the phone while adding the said funds

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@ThrowawayA55057 @Caspersight Doubt they even heard about the term "valve time" to begin with

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@Makoto_Sama73 @Caspersight Tbh they will be waiting for something that may not even exist at all

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@HardwareSteam What i wolud like to know would take a while to find out, as i would like to know if the frame can run in a wired mode without a battery. And if so does it default to requiring a pc or not?

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@Caspersight Don't mention anything about the claimed v2 of the steam frame and even if there was one it would be years away from release after the release of the steam deck 2

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@Caspersight where are getting the info about a v2 of the steam frame? As thats not mentioned anywhere as far as im aware and all the sources I have on. Valve hardware products info (mainly reliable leakers and dataminers)-

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@spacemanjupiter @Caspersight V2 of the steam frame is not releasing anytime soon as far as we are aware, the next piece of tech from Valve thats been mentioned anywhere is the steam deck 2 and thats years away from a release

[empiredestroyer101 @empire864]

@Caspersight Um there's not a second version of the steam frame coming out any time soon, and the steam deck 2 is the next thing as far as we are aware of and that is years away. And somethings are still in the works including the function to play vr on the steam machine.

@Pirat_Nation The bigger question is what would the US government consider piracy
