Sent in from the community. Earlier today at around 6:40 pm on 14th street this also happened where folks started running in fear of possible gun shots.
@EdwardRyder Hey Edward. How about you use your ANC position and coordinate a neighborhood watch program? Get neighbors to take action Then, that could help help with providing protection in your neighborhood and minimize some police activity in their cars. That would be a win win for all.
@beth_mcmullan I think Hank is the opposite. I feel that he wants me to go back to work. I am upsetting his normal routine and keeping him up during the day. LOL
@Uber_Support Thank you. They are on the 1400 block of Swann ST NW, DC! On the south side, across the street from 1465 Swann ST, NW. Right near the 15th Street. It's along the side of a church, that has a lot of elderly members.
Don't dislike scooters. Dislike people with no common sense. @Uber please remind users to think when ending their ride. I moved them out of the walk path. #walkdc#scooterdc
@311DCgov Drain cover pothole! South side of 18th, right before the intersection of 18th and G ST NW. @car2go car felt like it fell completety in. Fortunately, tire was ok.
@311DCgov Pothole 15th and T St NW (west intersection). Right in the middle of the street, in the middle of the section where cars park for the light and the crosswalk
@DCDPR Rumor has it that DPR facilities will be closed Friday 9/20 for all-day staff meetings. Will there be an impact on dog parks being opened? Thank you.
@DCist Great event! We had a blast! Francis pool! I don't understand why anyone would be negative. The pools are already closed for the summer and about to be drained. It's a great way to encourage DC dog owners to register / license their dog in the city!
It's normally cars that I have maneuver thru in crosswalks, but starting to happen with bikes and scooters. Picture taken after crossing, light was fully green for opposite flow of traffic and I had the walk sign. Lets all keep crosswalks clear. #walkdc#bikedc#scooterdc#carDC
@BabatzTim You are deflecting from the main point. No one (and I even referenced cars in my comment) should be parked / stopped in a crosswalk. It should provide a clear and safe pass from any potential obstacle or harm, to all that cross. No 'BUT' about it!
