@EmmaSzewczak Then there’s the problem of homeless people too. I live in one of the villages you mention and it’s changed considerably in recent years. Younger, well paid, tech types, have moved in, and changed the atmosphere. Houses are ~£1m with developers buying up and upsizing property.

Tempsford, Bedfordshire. As highlighted by @KaneEmerson and @SCP_Hughes , Tempsford will soon be one of the best-connected greenfield sites in Europe when East-West Rail opens, Tempsford already benefits from the recently upgraded A428 and the East Coast Main Line.
