Even in the Revolutionary United States, liberty was considered vastly superior to safety.

Beauty, Strength, and Utility are our guides for Roman inspired architecture.

It is quite nice that we still have the ability to learn from De Architectura by Vitruvius.

This insight is exactly correct. Beauty is 1/3 of the main principles of architecture as defined by Vitruvius.

The other two Vitruvian principles are Strength and Utility. Leading with beauty is inspiring.

We would all derive happiness through Venustas, Firmitas, and Utilitas.
