The first set of #ESCGuidelines for cardiomyopathy. Fantastic to see standing room only at #ESCCongress2023 as guidelines aim to increase CM awareness outside the subspecialty #CardioGen clinic https://t.co/kZdL09ge8Y
@BruckelJeffrey @UMichCardiology@MatthewKonerman These both make a lot of sense for the right patients (definite obstruction, hyperdynamic EF, appropriate anatomy). Mavacamten is a little hard to get but that will change soon. Myectomy often results in LBBB and needs to be performed by an experienced surgeon.
Thread/ Check out our article on https://t.co/N6A7APvJ8Q @ACCinTouch discussing #mavacamten induced structural changes in #HCM - we also show example of #echofirst images over 144 weeks of treatment

Excited to present our work on mortality after first infection in LVAD patients at virtual #ISHLT2021. Couldn't have done it without Guangyu Yang, @DLikosky @FPaganiMD, Carol Chenoweth, @PreetiNMalani@mdfetters@MichaelPienta, Lula Cabrera and the rest of the team!
@S2beri Reminds me of bandaids and my 4yo. Life changing when applied to an ouchie but they don't fix the problem. Fortunately, 4yo bodies are good at fixing ouchies. For HCM we need more docs like @s2beri to figure things out, maybe one day we'll need less bandaids.
Remote monitoring is the gold standard of care for patients with CIEDs, but current processes are laborious and error-prone. Check out our proposal to Transform Cardiac Device Care for the #FCVCInnovation Challenge! #EPeeps

Excited to share our review in @Heart_BMJ discussing Multimodality Cardiovascular Imaging, strengths and limitations of different imaging modalities, and how it can be effectively delivered with @mdicarli and @RonBlankstein@BWHCVImaging

**VALVE CASE OF THE WEEK**
OK, this starts off about valves...but then isn't really about valves...but it's the broader educational point (which is relevant to valves) that I want to make this week...no poll I'm afraid, but as always, comments encouraged! 😁
