"Our enemies accuse us of excessive veneration for the Supreme Pontiff, because they ignore the fact that for us he is the source of light, not insofar as he is this or that person, but insofar as he is the Vicar of Christ, the successor of St Peter, the supreme pastor of the Church."

Regarding John Courtney Murray, he states that "Murray supporters and like-minded commentators complained bitterly about the late additions to the final text of the declaration that Paul VI ordered in response to objections from the conservative fathers."
Professor Michael Dunnigan, in his book "Religious Liberty and the Hermeneutic of Continuity", states that this action was “an important concession to the criticism of the conservative Fathers that the earlier drafts were not sufficiently continuous with older papal teachings.”
For every post you make about abuse in liturgy, or a bad bishop does this or that, or a horrific priest does y, say a decade for each time you read or click on that.
Maybe 10 minutes at night of prayer for each post that gets you upset and angry? You get mad then mark it down that you'll get up at midnight to do prayers (St John Chrysostom says do this with the entire family) as in night vigils.
Bloggers that post about the bad news maybe they do 15min for each post they do on it.
Either we will get more praying done or (not gonna happen but one can hope) less bad news gets pushed out.
Joy vs grumbling. Gratitude for what you have vs grumbling at everything.
If we put more effort into becoming holy as we do seeking out bad news across the planet imagine the fruit from that
@ThomasDominus2 You know that the prayer of the Ave Maria was changed by Savonarola and approved by St. Pius V?
You know that private revelation doesn't bind anyone apart for the one which receives it?
You know that the story of St. Dominic receiving the Rosary was unkown until the XVth cent.?
A group of priests in the Archdiocese of Munich-Freising have pushed back on controversial guidance for the blessing of couples.
They warned Cardinal Marx that the guidance contradicts the Vatican, and risks dividing the clergy and the faithful against each other.
