Thrilled to announce that an advanced version of our study is now published in @NAR_Open! 🚀 Huge thanks to the reviewers for insightful comments and @SarahLa47195747 for invaluable contributions during the revision process. 🙌 Read more here: https://t.co/aM375Ls4NF
I'm a PhD student at @UniofOxford and I think I'm living in a fairytale :-)
Foxes playing around in the snow at Magdalen College this morning — absolutely magical!
Excited to share our study on ZNF512B's role in binding NuRD, acting as a repressor, and facilitating DNA aggregation is now published in @NAR_Open!
Big thanks to our amazing collaborators @OlallaLab, @JoelPMackay, Marek Bartkuhn, & Falk Butter!

Exciting news! Our study on ZNF512B was accepted in @NAR_Open ! Huge congrats to the amazing PhD student and first author Tim Wunderlich and the entire team. Big thanks to all our collaborators! Stay tuned for more details after publication.
The Hake team visited Wetzlar: A retreat of reflection but also team spirit strengthening. A WWII tunnel tour reminded us: NEVER AGAIN! After exploring these dark historical sites, we wrapped up the day at the bowling center. United, we're ready for new challenges!
Our lab (https://t.co/Hmq8OJZ4ov) is still looking for a PhD candidate with a strong computational biology background and a keen interest for genome assembly and #3Dgenomics to join our subproject in the exciting EvoREST initiative on genome evolution. @yourUMG@uniGoettingen
As every year, this amazing group got new inspiration at our employee talks. Reinforced as team and “scientific family”, this stimulating day ended with a wonderful and very fun dinner next to the river Lahn.
New preprint from the lab just dropped!
Led by former PhD student @palikyras, our work explains how cells exploit the changed biochemistry of their nuclei to cluster CTCF on nuclear speckles and commit to the fate of senescence.
A long(ish) thread...

We are looking for a Technical Assistant (two-years contract) to help us with molecular biological research and teaching (German and English). Have a look: https://t.co/T4DF0I8mjn
Two papers in @Nature present a new genome editing technique that enables the insertion, inversion and deletion of long DNA sequences at user-specified genome positions. The approach may provide an easier method of genome editing.

Today we report in @natBME the eePASSIGE system, which uses evolved and engineered recombinases and prime editing to integrate large gene-sized DNA cargoes into the mammalian genome in an efficient, precise, and targeted manner. (1/13)

#ChIPAtlas Our paper about a major update of ChIP-Atlas is out! ChIP-Atlas 3.0 provides not only ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq and Bisulfite-seq data, but also Hi-C, ChromHMM, GWAS SNPs and eQTLs data. Great contribution from @ZhaonanZou and @inutano !

Hear! Hear!
Our lab @yourUMG is looking to add two curious, motivated PhD students to our team. One to work on disease #3Dgenomics, and one with a strong #bioinformatics background - both as part of newly-funded consortia. Please spread the word!
Publication alert ! Paper from https://t.co/tINPtwkZSL in @Nature
How complex epigenetic modification signatures regulate genome function. With interactive online resource https://t.co/2pY8dpU51l Big data ! @epigeneticsHMGU@HelmholtzMunich

How did we lose our tail? A simple question.. but it wasn't really asked before! We discovered a plausible scenario for the genetic mechanism that led to tail loss. Amazing that such a big change may have been caused by such a small genetic event. https://t.co/0ZR8aH23PJ @BoXia7
We are excited to share our latest preprint on #heterochromatin regulation:
A systematic quantitative approach comprehensively defines domain-specific functional pathways linked to Schizosaccharomyces pombe heterochromatin regulation https://t.co/ak3lFGedRe
