The #consumerelectronics segment’s revenue fell 5.5% YoY to reach KRW 10.88 trillion ($8 billion).
Revenue from the #vehiclesolutions segment grew 44.6% YoY to reach an all-time high of KRW 2.4 trillion ($1.76 billion).
Battery EVs (BEVs) constituted 61% of the sales and plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEVs) the rest. The top five brands accounted for almost 67% of the EV sales in #SEA. @WulingMotorsID emerged as the best-selling EV brand, followed by @volvocars and @BMW.

@TataMotors_Cars launches a $10,000 electric car in India. Tata's Tiago EV will have a price starting from 849,000 rupees ($10,370). China, however, has some EV models that start as low as 32,800 yuan ($4,525).
Tata has outlined plans to launch 10 electric models by March 2026.

Hyundai Kia Group reported its Q2 2022 earnings in which they reported 5.5% YoY growth in net revenue. The increase is due to increased ASP of cars. Increased penetration of EV in the Hyundai Kia lineup has increased the overall asp of the car. Resulting📈58% YoY oper. profits.
Passenger EV shipments grew 79% YoY in Q1 2022 to reach 1.95 million units. 73% of total EV sales were BEV. @Tesla remains the market leader followed by @BYD and @WulingMotorsID . In Q1 2022, Tesla grew by 68% YoY while BYD grew by 433% YoY.

#Europe connected car market performed well last year registering a 16% YoY growth.
