@giantaward I like how you divided the different tiers into different tabs on your website. This makes it very easy to see which tiers you completed and also make the website more organized #fys03xu
I think this project helped me to wrap up all my thoughts and what we have learned about Emerging Adulthood. These guides would be very helpful resources for students transitioning to college #fys03xu
I really like the website formats, they are very interactive which I feel like is helpful to be engaging to viewers. They all look very professional and do a good job of explaining Emerging Adulthood #fys03xu
Since this is a relatively new genre for me, I'm a little confused so far reading the book. I like how Nnedi Okorafor is descriptive though, it makes it easier to try to picture what is happening throughout the book. #fys03xu
@izzyAr23 I agree that this novella was good, and definitely unique! I had not previously been exposed to Africanfuturism, so I am glad that I was able to read this book and understand what this term means. #fys03xu
@jaydennowlin1 I definitely agree! I think this novella could have been made a little longer and more descriptive. This would have helped me better understand the plot. #fys03xu
This novella was better than I expected. I do not read Sci-Fi very often, so I was hesitant on reading it. I found it very surprising that Binti became so close with the Meduse and considered them friends. #fys03xu
As a lot of other people have said, I think this book went very quickly and I was confused about many of the sections. I think Okorafor could have made this novella a little longer and described the different scenes in more depth. #fys03xu
@YungerAlex This book is different than what I normally read as well. I was also confused about this part and some other sections of the novella. #fys03xu
@ava35337179 I enjoyed watching this film. It gave many details and helped me better understand Afrofuturism through the society Asha lives in. #fys03xu
@SolinskyKatie I like how she incorporated excerpts from her own novel to help her audience better understand and relate to this topic. I'm excited to start reading this book! #fys03xu
Although I do not typically enjoy this genre of film, I thought Pumzi looked very interesting. I think it gives a good idea of Africanfuturism and what this could look like. These videos have definitely made me more interested in reading this novel. #fys03xu
Nnedi Okorafor's TEDTalk helped me to better understand the main plot of her novel, as well as gave insight on her use of science fiction to display Africanfuturism. She also describes how she uses the question, "What if" to get her audience thinking. #fys03xu
@ava35337179 I also don't normally read this genre, so I am very excited to start reading this book. Also, I'm interested in learning more about Afrofuturism. I had not heard this term before starting this section. #fys03xu
The book reviews for Binti all look pretty good, so I am very excited to start reading it. I'm interested in learning more about Afrofuturism, especially since this is a book genre that I do not typically read. #fys03xu
Prior to reading the UCLA article, I was unaware what the term Afrofuturism meant. After reading this and other articles, I am excited to learn more about this topic by reading the novel. #fys03xu
@giantaward I agree! After hearing Chimamanda's stories, I think it is very important to make sure you don't fall victim to a single viewpoint on a topic. #fys03xu
