I was really confused about how after Okwu stabbed her, Binti was able to speak to the Meduse without holding the edan. I feel like this part was a little rushed. #fys03xu

I think when her otjize ran out it was very hard for Binti. I think this was the moment she finally realized that she had left her old life behind and she was truly starting fresh in a new place. #fys03xu

While reading these articles I learned how different Afrofuturism and Africanfuturism are. Africanfuturism deals with Native African experiences whereas Afrofuturism is about sci-fi and the Black diaspora experiences. #fys03xu
