پھر آپ ہی نے بتایا کہ عمران خان نا اہل ہے، اس سے نہیں چل رہا، وہ رہا تو نظام ڈیفالٹ کر جائے گا۔ پھر ہمیں بتایا گیا کہ یہی سیسلین مافیا یعنی کہ نواز شریف ہی تجربہ کار ہے، یہی ملک بچائے گا۔ پھر انہیں مسلط کرنے کے بعد دوبارہ آپ کہلوا رہے ہیں کہ نظام کولیپس ہو گیا ہے۔ سر کب تک یہ تجربات چلیں گے، ہمارے ساتھ آزاد ہونے والا ملک بھارت کہیں آ گے نکل گیا۔ اور ہم سے ہی آزاد ہونے والا بنگلہ دیش بھی ہم سے بہتر حالت میں ہے۔
سر، اگر میری بات بری نا لگے تو ایک بار آپ خود پر بھی نظرِثانی فرما کر دیکھ لیں، ہو سکتا ہے فالٹ کوئی آپ میں ہی ہو۔
بہت سی دعائیں، اللہ آپ کو اور آپ کے کاروباری اداروں کو دن چوگنی رات چھگنی ترقی عطا فرمائے،

مقامی حکومتوں کو اختیارات نہ دینے پر سیاسی جماعتوں پر ہونے والی تنقید بالکل بجا ہے۔ لیکن یہ بات بھی ذہن میں رکھنا ضروری ہے کہ ہماری سیاسی جماعتیں ہر وقت یا تو اپنی بقا کی جنگ لڑ رہی ہوتی ہیں یا اس خطرے سے دوچار رہتی ہیں کہ ان کی حکومت ختم کر دی جائے گی۔

ان تینوں بڑی سیاسی جماعتوں کے پاس واحد طاقت وہ صوبہ ہے جہاں وہ حکومت کر رہی ہیں۔ یہی ان کا واحد leverage ہے۔ تو پھر وہ اپنے اختیار اور دائرۂ کار کا کچھ حصہ دوسروں کے حوالے کرنے پر کیوں آمادہ ہوں گی؟

کیا اس طرح اختیار اپنے ہاتھ میں رکھنا جائز ہے؟ نہیں۔

لیکن سوال یہ بھی ہے کہ کیا اس ملک کا کوئی دوسرا ادارہ اپنے اختیار اور دائرۂ کار کا کچھ حصہ چھوڑنے کے لیے تیار ہے، یا مستقبل میں کبھی ہوگا؟

On 16 July 2026, his sister filed a habeas corpus petition before the High Court seeking his production.
Despite the passage of several weeks, Shaukat Nawaz Mir has neither been produced before the court nor allowed to meet his family.
His continued incommunicado detention raises serious concerns regarding due process, access to legal safeguards, and fundamental human rights.
We call on the relevant authorities to immediately produce him before the court, disclose his whereabouts, allow family access, and ensure that his legal rights are fully respected.

As Chair of the APPG on Kashmir, I remain deeply concerned by the continued serious escalation in tensions in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Reports of further deaths, injuries and the use of live fire are deeply alarming.

Many British Kashmiris are understandably worried about the safety of their families, causing real anxiety and distress across our communities.

Every effort must now be made to prevent any further escalation and end the bloodshed. The UK Government should use every appropriate diplomatic channel to support immediate de-escalation and push for a peaceful resolution through table talks, with the inalienable human rights of Kashmiris at the heart of it.
