@dougnadel@buccocapital So if I flip it around would you be ok interviewing a candidate’s AI avatar ? I hope you see the power and information asymmetry in such an interaction.
@dougnadel@buccocapital False equivalence. AI is being used on both sides of the application process. Companies already use AI to read and sort through resumes to shortlist candidates for interviews.
Candidates are not sending their AI avatars to interview but companies are sending an AI interviewers.
A better more realistic question for most people in the US - Would you rather:
Work like crazy and make $200K/year

Not work at all and make $50k/year
Russ Hanneman really was the smartest person on “Silicon Valley”.
RICHARD: We can offset a lot of [expenses] once we get a few customers and start a
subscription revenue model.
RUSS: Revenue? No no no no. Why would you go after revenue? If you show people revenue, they’ll ask ‘how much?’. And it will never be enough. The company that was the 100x-er or the 1000x-er becomes the 2x dog. But if you have no revenue, you can say you’re pre-revenue and you’re a potential pure play.”
