34 year-old Rayven Amuan Edwards was shot and killed in Washington DC yesterday while with her three young children— one as young as three years old. Her oldest daughter was also shot and wounded during the shooting.

The killer, identified as Edwards’s ex-girlfriend, TOOK HIMSELF out a couple of hours later after getting into a police chase from Maryland to DC.

He was pronounced DEAD from a self-inflicted gunshot wound once he was caught by police— likely too much of a coward to face the consequences of his own actions.

The shooting occurred on W Street NW in Glover Park, usually described as a quiet neighborhood in Northwest Washington DC.

The missing 3 year-old son was eventually located safe with family in Prince George’s County, Maryland after an AMBER alert. DC Police continue to investigate what led up to the shooting.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Ms. Edwards, and I’m glad the cold-blooded killer doesn’t live to see another day. 🙏
