During the pandemic @Patrick and the Protect The Hustle Podcast kept me sane. Now I'm on this week's show sharing lessons learned.
Amazing conversation with @andjdavies , current @PaddleHQ CMO (and former VP at @Optimizely) about #experimentation. https://t.co/Wciww5RyZD
@adoseofjohn@Haris1728@mikeryanretail@hammer_mt It’s easy to know what competitors do. And not that useful. It’s hard to know what works. If your competitors can help you figure out what works, and that is a fit for you. Do it. And focus your creativity elsewhere.
Just listened to @Bonini84 on the Metrics & Chill podcast! It was amazing to discover how @glusman recommended businesses Implement a two-question framework:
@excapite@adoseofjohn Lol. It was the first online ad agency (i-traffic). It focused on getting traffic and customers to your website. There were plenty of folks doing cdroms and things of that sort at the time. They were super cool. Many of the best people I've worked with.
@madebytam It started last year with coinbase. It’s been tested online a ton in the last year. We did an analysis of those tests if you are curious:.https://t.co/lLa4HfVWsJ
@samfbiddle Btw QR codes are tested online all the time. We did an analysis to see if they actually work there. Tldr. They don’t. https://t.co/lLa4HfVWsJ
@annbeck@ParkerMolloy Omg. I bet that! They expected you to unplug your mouse to plug it in! Btw the internet took another run at it with QR codes. We did an analysis of it https://t.co/lLa4HfVWsJ
The current PLG data is pretty sobering.
3-5% of SaaS website visitors sign up
30-40% of those new accounts activate
So for every 10,000 people that visit your site, only 90-200 really experience the value of your product. Not good.
I see a new playbook emerging 🧵
