talking out loud to my bunny sounding like a really unaware guy trying to pick someone up at a cafe. like “oh are you eating hay over there? that’s so cool and cute of you. do you want some pets”
@DebsValidation@hell_line0 It’s bc the placenta is a big immune system down-regulator. That’s part of why women have more autoimmune disease—placenta evolves stronger suppression to protect fetus, mom evolves stronger immune system to not die, repeat. Worked ok when women were childbearing constantly
@RideUTA Good to know, thanks! I usually don’t have access to Twitter at commute times and was relying on push notifications from the app. It would be useful to know when the app isn’t reliable. Have avoided the email alerts before since they can’t be filtered down by day/time
@focusfronting I had this happen except the doctor ordered the ultrasound basically to please me and it was the ultrasound tech who was concerned! In the end it was just a cyst like others here have had. Fingers crossed it’s the same for you!
@mattyglesias@evan7257 So many people live in places where you can only walk for the sake of walking. If we built places to walk to then you get the mental benefit just by living your normal life. You don’t have to dedicate time to walk in cicles to nowhere.
@mrrdrr1354@jesushobo@max_spero_ I feel similarly about pink lady—in the affordable tier but almost as good as some of the expensive ones (and without the weird taste honey crisp often has). I have no complaints about the taste of Fuji, but I’ve never had a non-mealy one even when very fresh
@sproutishealing @rilakkgs Definitely get a heated blanket, they use soooo much less electricity than a space heater and I get too warm under mine and want to leave it to cool off. It’s the only way I can bring myself to emerge from blankets in my cold house sometimes
@TransUnion your login page is insanely broken right now. The css is diff every time the page loads, the button to submit credentials is usually disabled. If by chance I make it through two more broken pages to send a text code, the button to submit it is disabled. So frustrating
@Ney_Crypt@xXkingzer0@chloidc And red fox, red panda, red-breasted robin, etc. The word orange wasn’t used to describe the color until after oranges (the fruit) were more commonly known by English speakers starting in the 1600s.
