@milkkarten Better than some rando American Idol person being spoon-fed to masses then made into a "star"... at least these bands are talented and write/play their own music. Helping people discover them isn't a terrible thing.
@elizamclamb Totally agree with everything you said in those messages, Eliza. Shitty that WIRED decided to make it a hit piece on a good, creative and unique band. pretty sad that it's all about the "AH-HA!" takes these days... thank you.
@_Zeets Bot farm and fake engagement is awful but it's just like old school labels forcing their artists onto radio stations. Good, unique music is still going to win out. This social strategy just provides greater discovery. Shit music will always be shit, except to busters.
@WIRED So…. Basically, this “new” social strategy is just like big labels marketing their “chosen ones” in the days of radio. While I don’t agree with fake engagement strategy and fake hype, but the strategy is to market discovery… the music still needs to be unique and good. 🪿
@ADT experience: Need to replace a sensor that broke. ADT - there's no way to do that online other than order through the X chat. Ok, that's weird, but... finally get sensor ordered. Now my Nest Aware service is deleted and it's been 2 weeks with no fix. Bang up job @ADT !
@ARmastrangelo “Gravy” was always meat sauce in our family. All mine came in late 1800’s early 1900’s to San Francisco. Now… correcting people pretentiously about it is certainly cringe.
@DanielLurie@DanielLurie I like what you’ve done so far, but as almost any homeowner in the City will tell you, ANOTHER tax on homeowners is a non-starter. Why should we fund the mismanagement of city resources when the supervisors should have fixed this and other tax gifts? No more taxes
@codewithimanshu@Waymo Way more safe than 99% of human drivers. I tak Waymo and commute down HWY101 daily, so I can say this with 100% conviction. @Waymo is safe and reliable
