@memesMD @PenPaperPlanner We got a department-wide email to switch the default to miralax which said 1) the prep quality is equivalent and 2) patients are significantly more averse to Golytely than miralax and I’m like... why is that not the standard then

@PenPaperPlanner We’ve fully switched to miralax for everyone now but there were a few weeks where everyone was doing it differently and my guess is your mom’s clinic is still in the chaos phase

@PenPaperPlanner What I’ve seen is some combo of 1) golytely prescribed, pharm switched to more expensive analogue because they can’t switch to an OTC, 2) doc defaults to prescribing because it’s free under many insurance plans and OTC isn’t, 3) doc didnt read pts cost issue in time to change

@curlyheckler @CnewsSam @re4cows @CNYCentral Because of NY’s crazy party system, he was nominated by the Democratic, Conservative, and Independence parties (latter two usually nominate republicans). He ran heavily on non-partisanship so hopefully will not have a bias either way
