I was informed that my mother has been sick 3 days ago by my dad on WhatsApp
I kept mute because I was still hurt
I couldn't just ignore for long so I took a bold decision yesterday to visit my parents after a long time of threats and curses from them since I reverted to Islam
My parents were shocked to see me though
So I bought them some provisions and gave to them like I used to in the past
I saw my mother and I was weeping inside my heart
I learnt they've gone to several hospitals but her condition persists
So without looking back I held her hands and started reciting surah falaq, nas and ayatul kursi
Then I got a glass of water and recited surah fatiha on it and blew air into it and gave her to drink because I learnt that surah is also called The Cure
My father didn't stop me
But I noticed my mum started getting relieved gradually
To cut the long story short I left towards the evening because I had a flight to catch to lagos and I left hurriedly
When I got to lagos as at 7pm I called them back and my father said my mum has been sleeping so I let them rest
This morning my dad's call woke me up by 4am to tell me that my mums sleep improved overnight and she's been moving her limbs better since last night
He said whatever I did yesterday worked o that he doesn't mind if I keep doing that
I was overjoyed after the call
I had my tahajjud and thanked Allah and prayed my mums health improves
But I still kept wondering how a simple surah from the Glorious Qur’an could be so effective
I am beginning to deepen my Fear for Allah SWT
On the other hand I am wishing they turn to Allah so they can see how Great Allah is and worship him too
Indeed Allah is the greatest

In the same week that Congress debated cutting food assistance for low-income families, its members traded stocks in defense companies and voted to increase the military budget.
This is not a secret.
This is public record. Documented. Reported. Legal.
Insider trading is illegal for ordinary Americans. Congress exempted itself.
There is a law called the STOCK Act, passed in 2012 with enormous fanfare, that was supposed to restrict this.
Within a year, Congress had quietly amended it to remove the most significant enforcement provisions.
The fanfare was the policy. The amendment was the reality.
Think about the confidence required to do that.
To pass a law addressing your own corruption, wait for the news cycle to move on, and then dismantle the law.
The confidence that comes from knowing that the people you've just demonstrated your contempt for will not be able to do anything about it.
That the next election will again be a choice between two candidates both funded by the same interests.
That the journalists who report it will do so in a register of world-weary analysis rather than the outrage the moment deserves.
That the public will be outraged for a news cycle and then move on because they have to go to work.
They are probably right about most of that.
But they are wrong about the accumulation.
Every one of these moments is a deposit in an account that does not forgive and does not forget.
The withdrawal will come.
They offered to pay for the goat.
He refused and said:
"This is your dignity. You are our guests."
From the poorest corner of southeast Sudan near Eritrea… pure, unbroken hospitality.
SubhanAllah.
What happens to a society when the people who run it no longer feel any obligation to maintain even the performance of shared fate?
Because for most of the twentieth century, those at the top at least understood that the legitimacy of the arrangement required a visible connection between their interests and everyone else's.
The New Deal. The GI Bill. The interstate highway system. The public university.
Not generosity. Calculation.
The understanding that if the distance between the top and bottom became too visible, too absolute, too insulting, the arrangement would face a challenge it might not survive.
That calculation has been abandoned.
The distance is now the point.
The yacht is bigger than last year's yacht not because it provides more utility but because the size is the message.
The ruling class no longer even pretends to share a country with the people it governs.
They have different hospitals, different schools, different legal systems, different air.
Private planes above the pollution their investments generate.
When Marie Antoinette's court stopped performing the rituals of shared French identity, it was not because they became evil.
It was because they felt safe enough to stop pretending.
The American ruling class feels safe.
They should examine why all courts that felt this safe felt it for approximately the same length of time.
Fatima Bint Muhammad ﷺ
Fatimah was the fifth child of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Khadijah.
She was about five years old when The Prophet received revelation so scholars say “she grew up in Islam.”
One of her nicknames was Ummu Abeeha (Her Father’s Mother), due to the fact that she was always in his company and ready to defend him, just like a mother would do for her child. Once she saw her father while he was in sujood, and `Uqbah ibn Abi Mu`ayt came and placed the guts of a dead animal on the Prophet’s back while he was praying. Fatima ran to her father and removed the filth from his back while she was crying. The Prophet ﷺ saw her crying and said, “Don’t cry my daughter, for indeed Allah will make your father victorious”.
She adopted so many characteristics from her father, that Aisha says, “I have not seen anyone who resembled the Holy Prophet ﷺ more in manners, habits, character and in the method of sitting and standing than Fatimah.” (Tirmidhi)
The Prophet ﷺ had so much love for her that if he would be seated and Fatima would enter he would get up and kiss her between her eyes, all the time.
When Ali and Fatima got married the Prophet ﷺ was involved in their life. Once the Prophet ﷺ went to visit them and found Fatima at home alone, he asked where Ali was, she told him that they were upset with each other and that Ali has left the house.
The Prophet ﷺ went to look for Ali and found him sleeping in the masjid covered in dust. The Prophet ﷺ woke him while wiping away the dust saying, “get up the father of dust”. He did not even ask them what they fought about and instead told Ali, “O Ali come back to your home with me”.
Even though Fatima and Ali were poor they still had a happy marriage. The Prophetﷺ would go to visit them and he would hear their laughter from outside. They had four children, Hasan, Hussayn, Muhsin (who died very shortly after birth) and Umm-Kulthoom.
Fatima was only 28 years old when her father died. She went through a very hard time. She entered upon the Prophet ﷺ when he fell ill, but he was unable to get up to kiss her, as he usually does. So she sat to the right of the Prophet ﷺ while she was crying. The Prophet ﷺ said “bring your ear closer to me O Fatima”, so he whispered something in her ear, so she cried. The Prophet ﷺ again said “bring your ear closer to me O Fatima” and he whispered something else in her ear, and so she laughed. Aisha later asked her after the death of the Prophet ﷺ, please tell me what he whispered to you, she said, “firstly he said “O Fatima I am going to die tonight,” and so I cried, and when he saw me crying he said, “will you not be satisfied that you will be the first from amongst my family to follow me and that you will be the leader of the women of Paradise”, and so I laughed”.
Fatimah died six months after the Prophet ﷺ, and she instructed Ali, “When you bury me to cover me properly, I don’t want anyone to see anything of me, and bury me during the night for I am embarrassed from the multitude of people attending.”.
Ali was very upset by her death and cried a lot. He said, “I have never been more exhausted from anything more than I was as a result of the death of the Prophet and Fatimah within six months of each other”.
Fatimah was the highest example of chastity, honor, modesty, and piousness for all Muslim women.
May Allah make us able to follow her footsteps!
A displaced Palestinian films inside their tent and begs for the video to be shared, swearing that life there is harder than anyone could imagine and that no one would accept it, as mice move openly across the ground in front of the children while he speaks.
What the camera shows matches conditions documented across Gaza this summer, the third that displaced families have spent under thin nylon sheeting, with roughly a million people, about 170,000 households, still living in tents while the Israeli occupation restricts the entry of tarpaulins, plastic sheeting and basic shelter supplies, according to the Shelter Cluster and the Norwegian Refugee Council.
Aid groups and Gaza's health ministry describe torn tents turning into plastic ovens in the heat, rats and insects spreading through camps where sewage and rubbish are left uncollected, and skin diseases becoming routine. In the past two weeks alone, health workers recorded around 9,300 cases of chickenpox across more than 130 facilities, which the UN linked to severe overcrowding, summer heat and dwindling access to clean water, more than half of them around Khan Younis.

Do you remember Amr Mahdy?
Amr was a 19-year-old multimedia student who was passionate about his field. Yet, israel killed him and his entire family when they were at Al-Mahdi Hospital, their own hospital, as israeli missiles hit the premises, followed by israeli tanks shelling on Nov 12, 2023.
Their crime was helping the wounded.
The Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi:
"Egypt charges hundreds of thousands of dollars for every passage through the Suez Canal, with fees exceeding one million dollars for large container ships and tankers. Turkey imposes transit fees for vessels passing through the Bosphorus Strait. Canada charges fees for the St. Lawrence Seaway. Panama collects hundreds of thousands of dollars per transit, reaching up to 500,000 dollars for large Neo-Panamax vessels. The United States also charges fees related to the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Yet when Iran keeps the Strait of Hormuz open for free passage for decades, without imposing any transit fees, despite facing sanctions, isolation, and relentless accusations, it is portrayed as the problem.
Isn’t it hypocritical to condemn Iran while ignoring the fact that many other countries profit from controlling vital waterways? And you still expect me to believe that Iran is the ‘bad guy’ here?"
Recent Duaa from Gaza’s remaining mosques where literally almost everyone either sacrificed their homes or family members but are still pleading and weeping in desperation for entering Jannah in the hereafter.
May Allah end the suffering of Gaza and replace it with heaven. ❤️🤲
The wounded of Gaza gathered again today in a sit-in, as they say they must almost every day, to demand that Gaza's Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization allow them out for treatment they cannot get inside the Strip. Many have carried untreated wounds for years, their injuries worsening as painkillers stop working and infection eats into flesh that no functioning hospital remains to repair, while they watch the crossing open day after day for others but never for them.
Their suffering is the direct result of the Israeli occupation's grip on Gaza's borders: after seizing the Rafah crossing in May 2024, it cut medical transfers to a trickle, leaving more than 18,500 patients still waiting to be evacuated, over 4,000 of them children, according to the WHO. Gaza's health ministry says six to ten patients die every day waiting to get out, with well over a thousand already dead on the waiting lists, as 94 percent of the territory's hospitals lie destroyed or damaged and the occupation keeps the sick and wounded from leaving to seek the care that exists just across the border.

NEW: 🇮🇱🇺🇸 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Marco Rubio promised him that he will destroy the International Criminal Court for him:
“I spoke yesterday with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and once again he reaffirmed to me the United States' intention to act forcefully against the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The ICC endangers justice around the world, and it also threatens the right of democratic, sovereign states to exercise their sovereignty.
In effect, it seeks to subject their security to the decisions of a corrupt clique in The Hague.”

We challange the social media scholars to warn the muslim public of the musical events happening in the name of deen, like the gpu music festival, and at the Ris.
This should be quite easy, they dont have to stand up in front of women, they dont need to travel anywhere, in fact they dont even need to get up from their chairs.
If they care for the muslims like they claim, then why are they silent? Why are they scared of being cancelled or uninvited to such events? Are they more worried about the £££ they will lose or about safeguarding muslims from sins?
They are ready to justify sitting in front of women to give da'wah, yet they are slacking in what they actually should be doing?
How can muslims not end up to the conclusion that they just want to look at women and enjoy themselves?
Are these ulama willing to accept our challange, or are they just after using islam to please their desires with money, fame, followership, and women?
