It was a great honor to host Chris Xu of @Cornell at the @CoherentCorp laser factory in Glasgow.
Dr. Xu’s group has pioneered the development of temporal focusing and #2Photon and #3Photon #microscopy for deep-tissue imaging.
We explored the clean lab space, inspected inside the laser box, learned about new developments.
Chris shared with us his vision of a dream laser source characterized by on-demand laser repetition, delivering optimum pulse energy at the focus and maximum permissible power at the surface!
