#CCDRR, NIDM successfully concluded the 5-day ToT programme on โ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ-๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐๐ธ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป,โ held from 3rd to 7th February 2025 at NIDM South Campus, Vijayawada. The programme focused on the importance of child-centric DRR and the role of trainers in creating safer, more resilient environments for children.
The valedictory session began with a warm welcome address by Nazia Shaik, followed by a comprehensive report by Dr. I. Balu. Dr. Kumar Raka, Senior Programme Officer, CCDRR-NIDM, emphasized the need for child-centric, gender-sensitive, and disability-inclusive DRR.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Ranjan Kumar, CCDRR, NIDM, who expressed gratitude to all participants, resource persons, and organizers for their contributions. 46 officials from 7 states (Haryana, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, Ladakh, Karnataka, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh) participated to enhance their skills in disaster resilience for children.

The Five-Day #CCDRR Training of Trainers Programme on '๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐', held from January 6-10, 2025, at NIDM South Campus, Vijayawada.
Shri @rratnoo, Executive Director, NIDM, interacted with participants, emphasizing the importance of child protection and child rights in disasters and emergencies to ensure the overall wellbeing and inclusive development of children in unprecedented situations.
The programme concluded with thanks to the participants. Dr. Balu presented the Programme Report, Col. PS Reddy, Joint Director, NIDM, delivered the valedictory address, and Dr. Kumar Raka summarized the key takeaways, highlighting the programmeโs impact on strengthening child rights in disaster situations. Shri Ranjan Kumar, CCDRR, NIDM, delivered the vote of thanks.
About 48 officials from the Women & Child Welfare, School Education, Medical & Health, Revenue, and Social Welfare Departments successfully participated in the programme.

The ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ-๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐๐ธ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (#CCDRR) training program by NIDM was successfully conducted from December 16โ20, 2024, at ATI Mysore, Government of Karnataka. Dr. Ashok S. Sanganal, Head, CDM, ATI Mysore, delivered the welcome address.
The program, attended by 54 Women and Child Welfare; and School Education department participants, aimed to strengthen trainers' capacities in promoting child-focused disaster risk reduction. Dr. Kumar Raka, Senior Programme Officer, CCDRR-NIDM, concluded the session with remarks on sustainable child-centric DRR efforts.
