@McKinnonAl As humans, we are born fallen, human nature left to its own devices results in bad things. This is why as educators we must think about things more than just numeracy and literacy. We are a part of growing people not just learners. #CSCEdchatNZ
@McKinnonAl A4: Inclusion! As believers, we are called as we are, with all that we are. So as teachers, we should mirror the love that God has for us with our students and fulfil what Jesus believed to be the second most important commandment; love your neighbour as yourself (Mark 12:31)

@McKinnonAl A5: It is critical to involve learners' whanau in their learning journey and let them choose how much involvement they want to have. Designing comms and resources that inspire and encourage parents to help scaffold their children's learning is reciprocally beneficial

@McKinnonAl A4"Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me" For some children we may be their only source of love, acceptance and affirmation. A child with a negative disposition should not be neglected over the well behaved, but rather embraced and nurtured equally. #CSCEDchatNZ

A:3 I believe children are all given different abilities, cutlers and callings, as teachers we aught to guide and encourage them to become the person they are called to be. We need to do this in a peaceful and loving manor, because that is the example Jesus gave us.

A5: The morals every parent holds will definitely influence the way every child will enter our classes. Its our job to build from the ideas that they to have installed in them. However, I do wonder what this would look like in an unstable home? #CScEdchatNZ
