@amitkilhor This same pattern was used in Punjab during 1980-1995 where Police and bribed goons itself disguised themselves as Sikhs and killed/raped public later to blame on Khadkus.
Police killed Hindu public not sikhs.

SUTLEJ – the movie …. My thoughts
(It is a long post/ thread; plz do read fully.)
1. FACT OR FICTION?
Sutlej is a decently made film, but there is no escaping that it’s an out-and-out propaganda film & attempt to twist our history. Though there were ghastly deaths and excesses in Punjab in that dark decade, the horror of Khalistani terrorists was much more.
Let us understand that SUTLUJ is a part of truth which has been embellished by loads of FICTION.
Freeze the first scene & read the disclaimer! It clearly states that it is a ‘CREATIVE WORK' 'INSPIRED BY REAL-LIFE EVENTS' (see pic 2). The makers themselves admit that it is NOT an ACCURATE representation of facts.
"THE FILM IS NOT A DOCUMENTARY AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF HISTORICAL FACTS OR ACTUAL EVENTS." (pic 3)
Nevertheless, let's look at the claims made by the movie one by one, in the thread.
2. PLANNED VIRALITY
A few hours after the takedown, a Sikh friend sent it in a WhatsApp group with a message –
“Diljit Punjab 95 – Please forward to your friends & family; everyone must know OUR hidden history."
It struck me that this was NOT "OUR HISTORY" but had been made to sound like it. So either the Sutlej team or someone had already set up a system of WA forwards to circulate the movie through a friends-and-family network, especially to Boomers, Gen X & Gen Z. This was not a mistake but appeared to be a well-orchestrated campaign guided from overseas.
Diljeet's post asking people to download it & watch convinced me this was all part of their campaign, which appeared targeted at the elections in Punjab.
The WA video was poor. I got an HD version later
3. BAN THE FILM – OR NOT?
Cinematically, it is a decently made film; it is certainly not Attenborough’s Gandhi, Lawrence of Arabia, or Dhurandhar, but it is well made.
So, should it be banned? Whilst I thought so earlier, I now say NO, because people will watch it anyway. Like I've often said, "sunlight is the best disinfectant", If we let them watch, they will be able to see through the scam & propaganda, as I have detailed in the thread below, and much more. Release it cinematically with the cuts. The establishment needs its own explanation to counter the Khalistani narrative.
The factual inaccuracies, the truth behind the WSO, the Punjab Human Rights org and Khalistanis, the burnishing of some lies as truths, the touch-up for the Khalistanis, and the demonising of KPS Gill will be outed by the public in due course of time.
4. THE HORRORS OF PUNJAB & KHALISTANI TERROR
The violence of the 1980s and 1990s in Punjab was horrific, and India faced a civil war, foisted on us by Pakistani ISI-backed Khalistani terrorists, who fought the army and Police; thousands of innocents died in those battles. Innocent Sikhs got butchered as did Hindus and other religions.
I have spent almost 40 years tracking & studying the Khalistani movement, after my entire family was killed by Khalistani terrorists in the Air India Kanishka Bombing of 1985, by them and their supporters with their roots in Pakistan's ISI,
“to bleed India by a thousand cuts” ~ Z.A.Bhutto
Make no mistake, the horrors of Punjab and the killing of innocent Sikhs and Hindus are a blot on our nation's history, just as the killings of 1984 are as horrific as Kanishka, the attacks on the Harmandir Sahebji, the killing of Indira Gandhi, the Sikh Pogrom and the assassination of Beant Singh, and so many other reprehensible acts.
I condemn those killings with all my being, as I do the abduction and killing of Mr Khalra, even if he were a Khalistani sympathiser. I abjure violence & will never support it.
5. PROPAGANDA
However, it is important to recognise, in terms of context, that Sutlej is a massive propaganda effort to whitewash Khalistani terrorism in the Punjab by someone who has exposed himself as a Khalistani sympathiser, Diljit Dosanjh.
Had it been even half an attempt to tell history, it would speak of the thousands of Hindus who were burnt & killed by Khalistanis, or the 2800 policemen and thousands of military men who gave their lives at the hands of terrorists. Hindu women and children got r*ped and burnt in buses in Punjab, and Hindu traders were beheaded in their shops and homes.
6. BANNED WORLD SIKH ORGANISATION
The movie itself has been supported by the banned World Sikh Organisation (of Canada). [See pic 4]
People have forgotten that at their first WSO session in August 1984 at Madison Square Gardens, New York, Arjaib Singh Bagri, on behalf of Talwinder Singh Parmar, vowed from that stage –
“ WE SHALL NOT REST UNTIL WE KILL 50,000 HINDUS" as the crowds clapped, calling for the death of the b*tch (kutri) Indira Gandhi
(See video in next tweet)
The WSO has also directly and indirectly funded/ supported many other Khalistani acts of violence over the years. They supported the Air India Bombers in the criminal trial and also in the John Major inquiry, created the false narrative that India did it, funded their families, and supported other attacks, including supporting various terrorist movements.
Ironically, Khalras' travels and speeches abroad were funded and sponsored by the members of the same banned organisation, the WORLD SIKH ORGANISATION, that has now assisted Diljeet Dosanjh to make this film. (see pic 4)
7. MR JASWANT SINGH KHALRA -HERO OR NOT?
I shall not castigate a dead man, but the film was made solely to eulogise a man, Jaswant Singh Khalra, who was a Khalistani supporter who preached on Khalistani platforms and was supported & funded by Khalistani groups banned across the globe, and who also fought for human rights, but I will attempt to set the record straight through historical facts and events.
What the movie stays silent about is that in the early 1990s, Khalra edited the “Liberation Khalistan” magazine, an international magazine. He was also the founder of the “KHALISTAN LIBERATION MOVEMENT INTERNATIONAL” an Indian organisation that promoted the liberation of Khalistan in global forums across the world, so his Khalistani credentials were solid.
We are led to believe that Mr Khalra took support of Khalistanis to amplify his just cause about the police excesses and the missing youth of Punjab; but they had funded all his international travels to besmirch India, he met political leaders of countries like Canada, UK, USA and Germany representing the Khalistanis, and his being in bed with the Khalistanis and WSO tarred his cause because he clung to the terrorist organisations as they were leading him and his actions
(Read the thread for Khalras entire resume.)
8. FAILURE OF GOVERNMENT & BOLLYWOOD TO EXPOSE KHALISTANI KILLINGS
The greatest travesty in India and abroad is our defensive posture; whether as a government or as a people, we are afraid to talk about the horrors of the past, afraid to make movies to show the blood that was spilt, and afraid to call a spade a spade.
The failure lies with our government and our Bollywood community in never having made a film to show the horrors of the Khalistani massacres of Hindus & Sikhs, or even the Kanishka bombings or the multiple hijacks across India before 1984, or the Khalistani massacres of Hindus before Operation Bluestar, or the Ludhiana bus massacre, or the 1984 Sikh Pogrom and so many more.
I have tried for years to find takers for a docu-series on the complex ISI-Khalistan plot that bombed Air India 182 and have met top Bollywood producers, but no filmmakers want to upset them. Such is our left-wing hypocrisy.
9. K.P.S.GILL
More than 25,000 Hindus, Sikhs, & Police were killed in Punjab during that terrorist decade, and India was in a state of Civil war. For those who have lived those times, they will tell you the horrors of the time before Rebiero & Gill and how they worked to clean up Punjab. Talk to Ms.Tavleen Singh or @ShekharGupta or Vir Sanghvi to understand the state of the nation in the 1980s & 1990s.
Like Bhindranwale before 1984, Terrorists ruled the state by the gun, with terror and fear. Gill brought in a military-style rule in Punjab, and it is because of him that India has a peaceful Punjab today. Lest it be forgotten, the two years that Gill was removed saw the revival of terrorism in Punjab, with more deaths in those two years than in all the years before it. It took his return in 1993 to crush terrorism once again.
His actions may have seemed unorthodox, unusual and drastic, but desperate times called for desperate measures. Maybe If we did not have Reibeiro and Gill, Punjab may not have been a part of India today, that is the harsh truth.
I do not condone violence or the unjust killings, but neither the CBI, the Supreme Court, the National Human Rights Commission, nor even Amnesty International ever found the charges against KPS Gill.
Even in the hearings before the High Court and the Supreme Court, the question of Gill came up, and no findings were ever made. Even the movie notes that
"bitta's name was never mentioned in the report".
His controversy over Ms Rupan Deol Bajaj was a question mark, but that was personal and not police business.
Let us now examine each aspect in detail below -
A. JASWANT SINGH KHALRA and KHALISTAN.
B. FAKES, FACTUAL ERRORS & OMISSIONS
C. CRIMES AGAINST HINDUS (AND SIKHS)
D. WORLD SIKH ORGANISATION & OTHERS

Yes this all was happening before 1984 Operation Blue Star .
They earlier also tried to bomb Palika Bazar.

A khalistani living in Australia is triggered why am I telling the stories of atrocities faced by Punjabi Hindus and the bombings of Hindu temples , targeted killings of Punjabi Hindus that too before 1984 and Operation Blue Star.

A Sikh man from Punjab exposed the truth. The state made him disappear. His story is now a film and it almost never reached us.
Join us live to discuss "Sutlej" (Punjab 95) Khalra's fight for justice, and why Punjab's story matters today. #Diljit https://t.co/HNOc6HkVOh
#Modigovt wanted to create a rift between the Sikhs and the Hindus of Punjab and I fear what 1947, 1984 or 1995 couldn’t do, the #BJP #BJP is doing since 2014. #Satluj is also the part of same propaganda for which
The Kerala story

Movies were released
The real agenda of this movie #Satluj is
To divide Hindu Sikh vote and benefit modi Govt
Otherwise the govt which can control everything first created the hype, let it release on OTT, again bans it and now allowing this movie to be played in villages and every nook and corner Punjab.
Divisive politics always benefits BJP
I pray to almighty that good sense prevails among Punjabis (Hindus/Sikhs) and we don’t fall for this trap.
Please be careful, don’t believe in rumors and stay safe.
