What Joe Biden could do to truly make a difference on homelessness is #FundHUD and house people already. Housing is a proven remedy for homelessness. There is none other.
And then let's compare the costs of frequent ambulance trips to the homeless with the costs of housing them, plus the costs of greatly reduced ambulance trips and ER visits, and see if there are savings. (There are.) And call to #FundHUD, house people, save taxpayers money.

@uche_blackstock Single rooms for all single homeless people: hotels, SROs, transitional shelters. Studios and larger units for families, depending on size and composition. #FundHUD to build affordable housing. Introduce #UBI before robots displace us all from paid work. Involve us in planning.

@KellyMDoran @BarbaraDiPietro Suppose the District Attorney goes "tough on crime" and zealously prosecutes all those guilty of his death, directly and indirectly. Who would the defendants be? The presidents who didn't adequately #FundHUD? Those who allowed jobs to leave and put no import duties on the goods?
