CEFROHT continues to create awareness on nutrition in Kabarole district sensitizing people about nutrition. We have had two radio talk shows at Life FM and KRC FM. We highlighted the need to have a nutrient profile model to regulate marketing of unhealthy diets to children
As we carry on with the Parliamentary Nutrition Week, We have just had an introductory meeting with key leaders in the district among them are Ms Catherine the District Nutrition Coordination Chairperson for Kabarole, and Dr Steven Muhenda the Fortportal City Nutrition Officer.
The protection of children against unhealthy food products and right to information in terms of proper and clear labeling.

The Global Action Plan for prevention of noncommunicable diseases encourages countries to use taxes and subsidies on junk foods and sugar sweetened beverages, to improve access to healthy dietary needs for everyone. @IDLO @WHOUganda @WHO #GlobalRecap
