Cette formation permet aux professionnels des médias d’améliorer leurs compétences en matière de reportage sur les questions de santé, de lutte contre la désinformation, de vérification des faits, d’analyse des données sanitaires et de production de contenus fondés sur des preuves.
Les participants sont également informés des progrès réalisés par le Rwanda dans la lutte contre le VIH, la Tuberculose et le Paludisme, ainsi que des défis qui subsistent. L’atelier met en lumière le rôle essentiel des médias dans la sensibilisation des communautés, la promotion de la redevabilité et l’amélioration de l’accès à des services de santé de qualité.
Concernant la Tuberculose, il a été souligné que la Ville de Kigali et la Province de l’Est enregistrent les taux de notification les plus élevés. Les districts de Kigali, Rwamagana et Rubavu figurent parmi les principaux contributeurs à la charge nationale de la TB, en raison notamment de la densité de population, de la présence de groupes à haut risque et du renforcement des activités de détection communautaire.

As @AndrewGasoziNtw said, the integrated community-led monitoring (#iCLM) means communities lead in #HIV, #TB, and #Malaria response.
Policies and interventions that ignore community voices become baseless, ineffective, and therefore inefficient.

Effective #HIV, #TB, and #Malaria responses depend on #communities owning the #data, #discussion, and #decisions.
At the #Rwanda #CSOs and #Communities’ Stakeholder Consultative Workshop on #iCLM Priority Setting, convened by @RwandaNGOForum to shape the NSP 2027–2030 and the @GlobalFund GC8 Funding Request, this principle was evident.
We were inspired by @AndrewGasoziNtw, Senior Coordinator at the @UNAIDSRwanda Country Office, whose words capture the essence of the conversation:
"Integrated community-led monitoring (#iCLM) for #HIV, #TB, and #Malaria belongs to the #communities. Their ownership and leadership make #iCLM meaningful. We engage #communities! Priorities for #HIV, #TB, and #Malaria NSP 2027-2030 and the GC8 funding request reflect what matters to them."
Why is this important?
Because programs only work when #communities shape them, monitor them, and speak for themselves. The principle is non-negotiable: Everything for #communities, without #communities, works against them.
We must move people from the periphery to the high-level decision-making table. #Communities should participate not as beneficiaries, but as leaders and equal contributors.
✅Ownership: #iCLM isn’t just a data collection tool; it is the #community’s voice. #Community-owned data reflects reality, not assumptions.
✅Leadership: When those at risk, living with, or affected by the diseases, and fighting them daily, set priorities, resources are allocated effectively and equitably.
✅Accountability: We cannot design solutions in a vacuum and expect them to work on the ground. True accountability means #communities drive the response.
The upcoming #HIV, #TB, and #Malaria NSP 2027–2030 and the @GlobalFund GC8 funding request must continue to boldly reflect #communities’ priorities. #Community voice must drive better policies, stronger accountability, and responses that save lives.
Civil society leaders and #communities will continue to shape these critical documents through consultative and development workshops, sharing #community priorities, and providing feedback on drafts. This active involvement ensures that both #HIV, #TB, and #Malaria NSP2027-2030 and @GlobalFund GC8 funding request are grounded in real experience and drive change where it matters most.

- Questions-based dashboards: creates dashboards that allow users to generate and
compare reports based on questions and locations, as well as the tools used
- Answer-Based Dashboards: Enable self-created dashboards for report generation and comparison based on answers provided, across different locations and tools.
- Health Center Dashboards: Develop dashboards for health centers, enabling comparisons based on location and tools.
- Table based extractable reports for further analysis and investigations

Yesterday, marked a remarkable milestone for the @RwandaNGOForum as we held a workshop to validate the Integrated Community-Led Monitoring (#iCLM) Model and #iCLM software for #HIV, #Tuberculosis, and #Malaria in Rwanda, in collaboration with @RBCRwanda, under the financial support of the @GlobalFund.
The #iCLM model incorporates community-led routinely and systematically monitoring of service delivery for #HIV, #Tuberculosis, and #Malaria by affected or infected #communities (service users) of high-risks groups, key and vulnerable populations (MSM, FSWs) adolescent girls and young women (AGYW), and people living with HIV (PLHIV).
The #iCLM model focuses on four healthcare thematic aspects such as #Availability, #Accessibility, #Acceptability, and #Quality of care, with an overall goal of translating data into action and change, ensuring equitable and effective health services delivery at both community and health facility levels.
On behalf of the @GlobalFund, Keith Mienies, Senior Technical Advisor, Community Systems and Responses, said: “#Rwanda is a global pioneer in implementing the Integrated Community-Led Monitoring (#iCLM) Model. We anticipate significant positive outcomes for #HIV, #TB, and #Malaria communities. We are also keen to explore how this innovative concept can be adapted and scaled up to benefit other countries”
On behalf of @RwandaHealth, the guest of honor, Dr Muhammed Semakula (@semakulam), HoD of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation & Health Financing, emphasized that: "The #iCLM model ensures that people receive all necessary healthcare care at once, addressing multiple needs simultaneously. ...for sustainability, collaboration is key, and we must also recognize the crucial role of #communities in leading the co-creation of their own solutions."
The #iCLM Model and #iCLM software successfully validated will ensure that data collection, analysis, and reporting are paperless, visualized with all the necessary visuals, and ensure a real-time data.

The 5th Session of Session of Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers (#ICLM) commenced on 21 November in Baku.
HE Mrs Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK (@zehrazumruts) presented the progress made on the implementation of the @OIC_OCI #Labour #Market #Strategy based on the outcomes of the surveys conducted by the Centre as well as the key performance indicators.
The presentation also highlighted several best practices from the Member States towards the implementation of the strategy.
