उन्होंने #एर्दोआन की राजनीति के बारे में कुछ मुख्य बातें इस प्रकार लिखी हैं:
लोकतंत्र से तानाशाही का सफर
#टेमल्कुरन ने अपनी किताब में बताया है कि कैसे एर्दोआन ने धीरे-धीरे लोकतंत्र को खत्म कर तानाशाही स्थापित की.उन्होंने इसके 7 मुख्य चरण बताए हैं:–
1:– 'आंदोलन' बनाना:–
खुद को जनता का मसीहा और पुरानी व्यवस्था का शिकार #Underdog बताना.
2:–भाषा का पतन:–
तर्कपूर��ण बहस के बजाय बचकानी और अपमानजनक भाषा का इस्तेमाल करना.
3:– सच का अंत :–
तथ्यों को झुठलाना और अपनी सुविधानुसार नई 'सच्चाई' पेश करना.
संस्थाओं को कमजोर करना:–
न्यायपालिका, मीडिया और शिक्षा संस्थानों पर कब्जा करना या उन्हें डराना.
4:– "असली जनता" का कार्ड खेलना
लेखिका के अनुसार, एर्दोआन ने तुर्की को दो हिस्सों में बांट दिया—"असली जनता" जो उनके #समर्थक हैं और "गद्दार" जो उनके #विरोधी या शिक्षित वर्ग हैं.
वह अक्सर खुद को आम जनता के साथ जोड़ते हैं और विरोधियों को 'एलीट' या पश्चिमी देशों का एजेंट बताकर उनकी आवाज दबाते हैं.
5:– भय और शर्म का खात्मा
टेमल्कुरन लिखती हैं कि एर्दोआन के शासन में समाज से 'नैतिक शर्म' खत्म हो गई है. जब नेता खुलेआम #झूठ बोलता है या #क्रूरता करता है और समर्थक उसका जश्न मनाते हैं.
तो वह समाज ��ो अंदर से खोखला कर देता है.उन्होंने इसे "बेशर्मी की राजनीति" कहा है.
6:–विरोधियों का दमन
उनकी किताब "Turkey: The Insane and the Melancholy" में जिक्र है कि कैसे 2013 के 'गेजी पार्क' प्रदर्शनों के बाद एर्दोआन ने अधिक #आक्रामक रुख अपनाया. उन्होंने #मीडिया को पूरी तरह नियंत्रित कर लिया, जिसके कारण एसे टेमल्कुरन सहित कई पत्रकारों को अपनी नौकरियां गंवानी पड़ीं और देश छोड़ना पड़ा.
7:–धार्मिक ध्रुवीकरण
उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे एर्दोआन ने #धर्म (इस्लाम) का इस्तेमाल अपनी राजनीतिक शक्ति बढ़ाने और तुर्की के #Secular ढांचे को बदलने के लिए किया है.

Girl used to trust him so drink the cold drink. She fell unconscious and the Men raped her.
