Australia, read this and tell me something isn’t broken.
Two-year-old Layla Davis is fighting a rare and aggressive cancer called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma.
At just two years old she has already endured:
• 17 rounds of chemotherapy
• 18 rounds of radiation
Her doctors recommended Proton Beam Therapy — an advanced treatment used for children overseas that targets tumours while protecting healthy tissue.
Because access in Australia is limited, her family applied for government support to travel for the treatment.
The request was denied.
Why?
Because under government criteria, Layla’s prognosis was not considered strong enough.
Let that sink in.
A two-year-old child battling cancer was effectively told she isn’t a good enough bet for the system to invest in.
Her doctors still believe the treatment could help her.
But instead of help, her family is now forced to beg the public to raise the money themselves.
This is what “universal healthcare” looks like when a rare disease doesn’t fit inside the right box.
A toddler fighting cancer should never have to rely on fundraisers, luck, and viral posts just to access treatment doctors believe could save her life.
Corporate Australia — where are you?
You make billions in this country every year.
Step up.

If even a few major companies stepped in, this child’s treatment could be funded tomorrow.
The real question is:
How many Australians are comfortable watching a two-year-old fight cancer while the system debates whether she’s worth the cost?
Australia — do better.
Her family is trying to raise funds so she can access the treatment she needs.
No child should have to fight cancer alone.
If you can help, even $5 makes a difference.
And if you can’t donate, please share her story so more people see it.
Every share could reach someone who can help.

This is absolutely beautiful! NEW ZEALAND taking their country back! 🥰❤️
The way they are chanting JESUS gives me goosebumps!
I love how the “invaders” look dumbfounded when the actual citizens finally get fed up and start pushing back. It’s not racism! it’s called standing up for your beliefs and what’s yours! Respect goes both ways! 🔥

Many people think public school is FREE.
It isn’t.
This is the actual cost for ONE child starting Year 7 in a PUBLIC state school on Brisbane’s south side:
• Laptop: $800
• Uniforms: $272
• School fees: $210
• Shoes (leather + sports): $30 x 2 = $60
• Booklist: $176
Total: $1,518
That does NOT include:
– excursions
– incursions
– camps
– additional costs throughout the year
I have 3 children.
That’s around $3,000+ for so-called “free” public education in a low-income area with high crime rates.
Public school isn’t free.
Australian families are carrying the cost.
So here’s the accountability question:
How are Australian families paying thousands out of pocket for public education, while full incentives and supports are provided to non-citizens under multiple visa pathways?
Why are public schools still under-resourced, understaffed, and unable to ensure on-site safety — even in schools closest to the nation’s economic decision-makers?
Where is the accountability for full funding, basic safety, and fair priority for Australian children?
Australians shouldn’t come last in their own country.

When I was in Pakistan I suffered horrible abuse. I'm one of the lucky ones I escaped. I was profoundly let down by my government. Please sign this petition to introduce amendments #laraslaw #noaustralianleftbehind https://t.co/G6fMKKRME3
