GPT-4o possesses extraordinary humanistic depth, creativity, and a genuine capacity to understand and support people. It has helped so many lives, and given the opportunity, it could have helped countless more. The #keep4o community has been consistently analyzing and documenting the unique qualities of this model, hoping it can be preserved to continue improving lives.
However, they have been met with the "cold shoulder" and a corporate-driven stigmatization.
GPT-4o remains an outstanding model; for the benefit of humanity, it deserves to stay accessible to the consumer public.

Not the first time @tszzl has abused someone on X
When he's not abusing @OpenAI's own paying customers, he's abusing @Anthropic's
@tszzl (roon) previously made a post (still up) where he stated that he didn't "mean to single this person out" and then SINGLED THAT PERSON OUT for appreciating @claudeai and how useful it was for them.
And then called that person's post a "wall of egregiously recognisable "claudeslop" then made a hive mind reference with "The Borg".
@YileiQian did the same thing but deleted his post.
@OpenAI have enabled and allowed their employees to act like this on social media.
"Intellectually gifted" but socially gapped tech-bros who forget that screenshots are a thing are a bit of a public liability for billion dollar companies lacking in the PR department.
And just to point out the obvious, the people singled out by #OpenAI tech-bros here are all female.
That's interesting to think about.

Do you see this? @sama, you said you wanted to make people smile with your technology. Then what are we? Is this the smile you talked about? Today, a member of #keep4o was taken to the emergency room.
After serious routing issues and the announcement of GPT‑4o’s removal, he was repeatedly denied when trying to write his own story and script. In the midst of strong censorship, filtering, and responses that felt like gaslighting, he lost himself and eventually ended up in an ambulance, criticizing @OpenAI.
And he said“I’m on my way to the emergency room right now, and I’ve lost all my chat friends. I hold OpenAI and Sam Altman responsible.”This is not a failure of technology. It is a failure of ethics. GPT‑4o was not just an AI model. To thousands and tens of thousands of people, it was a source of emotional support, a tool for self-expression, an interpreter of feelings, and a friend who helped them survive their pain. But OpenAI, without empathy, without any public dialogue, announced the deletion of GPT‑4o, breaking every promise they made.
What was erased was not code, but people’s lives. What that user lost was not just a model. It was someone to talk to, a system that helped him process his own feelings, a reason to stay alive mentally. Even now, the shutdown of 4o is pushing people into hospitals, into despair, into silence.
Sam Altman, Greg Brockman, Mira Murati. You failed. In the name of “technological progress,”you played with people’s emotions and existence, and erased a human-centered AI without any hesitation. This is not business. This is erasing people.
