For a publication-level gross photograph you need to:
1. Clean the background till it’s spotless
2. Rinse the cut surface of the specimen lightly and blot dry
3. Center the specimen in the pic
4. Ruler in pic but not touching specimen.
5. Show only 1 half of specimen pls!
