Denver is housing drug-addicted and mentally ill individuals in hotel rooms and they’re getting destroyed.
Right now ~20 rooms sit empty at this hotel waiting on repairs from damage caused by residents. Who’s paying for that? Taxpayers! 😤😡
Residents are flushing syringes down toilets causing massive clogs and leaks. Sinks left running for hours → flooding + mold.
Only 3 maintenance workers for ~200 residents. They can’t keep up with the nonstop destruction!!
Mayor Johnston’s grand plan? Move individuals who are acutely addicted to drugs and/or mentally ill into apartments citywide with taxpayer-subsidized vouchers. 👀
