A presidential “spoiler!”
That’s what many call third party candidate @ChaseForLiberty.
He says, “You can't spoil something that's already rotten.”
Minnesota Flag Commission continuing to use the weirdest voting method I’ve ever seen
Just rate each design 0-10! That easy! @flagstudies got through HUNDREDS of designs this way with THOUSANDS of people voting and got CLEAR results QUICKLY!
Ukuvota is a decision making tool, helping group processes find a consensus.
The name "ukuvota" comes from a Zulu word meaning "to vote" or "to make a decision".

#RankedChoiceVoting isn't the only way to patch the lethal bug in our Operating System, but it's a way that is gaining momentum. (Maine uses #RCV!) Regardless of whether you prefer #IRV, #ScoreVoting, etc., it's essential that you CALL YOUR CONGRESSIONAL REPS & CITY COUNCIL.

This video from The Center for #Election Science highlights how #scorevoting (including #approvalvoting) renders #thirdparties viable, and enables ALL candidates to enjoy an accurate assessment of how many people support them.

Totally cringe how the only option for #Twitter polls is the archaic "Choose One Only" voting method.
🤮
@TwitterSupport needs to upgrade w/ options for:
👍#ApprovalVoting (multiple choice checkboxes)
#⃣ #ScoreVoting (a scale of 0-5)
⭐️#STARVoting (a scale of 0-5, then runoff)
@AndrewYang Is this a reference to open primaries? I think those are a good idea.
I am in favor of anything that would result in more centrist candidates being elected!
Latvia uses an interesting form of List-PR!
👥#ProportionalRepresentation where voters apply a #ScoreVoting scale of [1,0,-1] to their party's list of candidates:
Can we all unite as a country even if no one changes their opinion or even tries to get along? Yes. #maxvoting https://t.co/4dq0ilB4Zi #approvalvoting #scorevoting #starvoting https://t.co/u7IZj3uk6T
Why US elections fail to elect voters' most preferred candidate.
Or why, just like our current voting method, #RCV causes vote splitting and political polarization.

America needs #ScoreVoting #STAR_Voting #ApprovalVoting

@AndrewYang & @Fwd_Party check out @ElectionScience and #ApprovalVoting and #ScoreVoting as an alternative to #RankedChoiceVoting - Or for an even faster shakeup, the @VoteMatrix platform would make 3rd party candidates viable even in a #FPTPVoting based duopoly.
@AndrewYang If you want to end the #duopoly and make third parties viable then you want a Cardinal Voting method!

@redeemedmonkey1 @JonMunitz Orrrr we change the voting system so that stealing/drawing/siphoning votes/support is a non-issue. :)
#ApprovalVoting #STARvoting #ScoreVoting
@ChrisRay179 @Juliehere4YANG Yup! One major improvement we could make to the system to start escaping the stranglehold of the R and D duopoly would be to adopt superior voting methods like #ApprovalVoting, #ScoreVoting, or @5starvoting.
This essay from @Beyond2Parties explains how:

@PollTrackerUSA Sure would be nice if polls like this used #ApprovalVoting or #ScoreVoting to get the true level of support for each candidate, rather than artificially splintering it into as many pieces as there are candidates...
Jill Stein didn’t give us Trump, Trump voters and first past the post gave us Trump. #scorevoting is better
@Joy4everM0RE @joshgad Ranked choice is harder to explain to people, to make legible ballots for, and to count than either of #ApprovalVoting or #ScoreVoting.
You'll especially want to check out #STARvoting .
Any of them, even RCV, are better than what we have. There's no need for small improvements.
@JackShawhan In particular multi-party democracy where voters aren't asked to pick a faction to support, but rather to give their honest opinion about each faction running in any given election, thus #ScoreVoting and #STARvoting along with #ProportionalRepresentation.
But #ScoreVoting and #ApprovalVoting are better, according to experts and simulation. I really want to know why we’re pushing the inferior option, which seems less likely to break the duopoly.
Thoughts, @AndrewYang?
I am an enormous proponent of Ranked Choice Voting. I think it leads to both a better process and better outcomes.
@JRobnson @Bone_Neo @commieswag I am once again reminding you that plurality elections and polls in a multi-person race demonstrate fuck all about the actual support a candidate has unless they're one of the top 2 or maybe 3 candidates. #ApprovalVoting #ScoreVoting would tell us some, but #FPTPisUndemocratic
