Looking for some evidence/literature:
Why does it matter to Dx accurately Autism +/- BPD/EUPD?
What effect is there on treatment approach?
How does it affect suicidality/risk and DoL?
If one is trans and raised in a binary, transphobic world, it's perhaps impossible not to experience significant distress around one's identity.
Ipseity disturbance here isn't a personality disorder but a pivot procedure as one manoeuvres into oneself.

Experiences of oppression and discrimination are traumatising and can result in self-harm or suicidal ideation, but this does not mean that a transgender person has a ‘personality disorder’, or that such a diagnosis would have utility in understanding their distress #transnotpd
BPD has partially survived as a label despite horrific reliability and validity, and awful iatrogenic harm, cos of the idea it's one thing albeit badly named. This doesn't fit the evidence. Sometimes-often - its #TraumaNOTPD, sometimes #ADHDNotPD, #BipolarNotPD #TransNotPD too

@LittleMy1234 @Ester_Laura83 That’s the point but cos it’s not one thing or grouping it has to be unravelled from multiple perspectives so it can be seen there is nothing left (and also cos some of these other diagnoses can REALLY prove life-changing).
