The TDP government failed to bifurcate JNAFAU. Our government established YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University in Kadapa in 2020–21. AICTE and UGC approvals were obtained, but the Council of Architecture (CoA) couldn’t conduct inspections during the COVID pandemic. On persuasion, the CoA constituted a committee in October 2023, and an inspection was held on July 1, 2024, to consider approval for the first three batches. The approval is still pending solely due to the absence of an undertaking from the Vice-Chancellor. Unfortunately, the present administration has remained inactive until now. For the sake of the first batch of graduates this year, hope they act now. CoA approvals for the 2023–24 and 2024–25 batches were secured during our tenure. What’s worse is that this government has not even conducted the ADCET exam so far to induct new students. No convenor has been appointed yet for ADCET. When will the test be held? When will admissions begin? Hope this government wakes up from its hibernation. Wake up, Babu!
