#ACA #SilverLoad Due to carriers overpricing Gold to Silver premiums, consumers making 200%-400% of the FPL are receiving poor value in the individual market. Here's how to fix that...Fields of Gold: Reaping a Harvest from the ACA https://t.co/dyMfwoYvy9

This thread from @bjdickmayhew is worth a read- good context on yesterday's #NBPP2020 rule with background on #Silverload #HepC and #PrEP

@LouiseNorris @kellakelWV @bjdickmayhew @SimonFHaeder @xpostfactoid See updates at bottom: --active renewals ⬇️ 9%, NEW enrollments ⬇️ over 16% so far --not counting VA/ME, 5 of the other 6 states ⬇️ over 20% #SilverLoad, so that doesn't seem to be a factor --of those 6, 2 are tiny, 2 are mid-size, 2 are large https://t.co/2rgpbFLg6p

📣 REMINDER: 2019 #ACA OPEN ENROLLMENT BEGINS *TOMORROW* IN 49 STATES +DC. (CA already started 2 weeks ago!). In #SilverLoad states, subsidized enrollees should have great deals. In #SilverSwitcharoo states, *unsubsidized* enrollees should also be able to avoid the CSR hit.

In other words, Georgia is half #SilverLoad, half #SilverSwitcharoo this year.

Lots going on in Georgia's exchange for 2019: https://t.co/sqq7QXs1tx All insurers are adding CSR cost to silver plan rates for 2019 (in some cases, only to on-exchange silver plans). Anthem is leaving 41 counties but joining 31 others @EyeOnInsurance @cynthiaccox @charles_gaba
