Alarmingly, the current government has continued to provide STF #protection to individuals who intimidate Tamil communities, #falsely claim to represent them, and threaten dissenters under the PTA.
At the same time, Tamil genocide deniers misuse the language of “justice for all,” “missing persons,” “human shields,” and “minority rights” to obscure the targeted nature of crimes committed against Tamils, dilute accountability, and normalise #impunity. Together, these actions amount to deliberate persecution of the Tamil population and may constitute crimes against humanity under international law.
