Illegal immigrant from Columbia accused of r*ping a woman in her home in Springfield, Massachusetts while delivering her food through Uber Eats. Roiber Andres Rodriguez Melendez, 21, allegedly posed as a female on the Uber Eats app. When he arrived at her home, Melendez said he needed a four digit code to complete the delivery. It was cold out and he didn’t speak English so the woman let him come into the home while they called Uber Eats support. The woman phoned a friend to translate so the three parties could communicate. Melendez then allegedly ended the call and forced the woman into the bathroom where he r*ped her. The incident was captured on a camera inside the house. Police say the woman was hysterical when they showed up to the home. The woman said the interaction lasted for about 30 minutes. “When confronted about the 30 minutes in total elapsed video, he fixated on how he was just trying to get the code that he needed to complete the order,” police said. Melendez had an active arrest warrant for motor vehicle offenses at the time of his arrest. He faces a single count of r*pe. Video: @Dapper_Det
