సమయం: సాయంత్రం ఐదున్నర గంటలు
డైరెక్టర్ @SantoshMeesala0 నా ఫ్లాట్కి వచ్చాడు. మేం మూడేళ్ల క్రితం సురేష్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్ సంస్థలో రెండు వెబ్ సిరీస్లకు కలిసి వర్క్ చేశాం.
"సర్, స్టోరీ నెరేషన్ స్కిల్స్ డెవెలప్ చేసుకోవటానికి సెషన్స్ జరుగుతుంటాయి. మూడు నిమిషాలలో ఓ కథ చెప్పాలి. నేను అక్కడికే వెళుతున్నా. సో ఓ సారి ప్రిపేర్ అవుతాను"
"నేనేం చెయ్యాలి?"
"నేను మీకు నెరేట్ చేస్తాను, నాకు ప్రాక్టీస్లా ఉంటుంది"
"సరే"
సంతోష్ కథ చెప్పటం స్టార్ట్ చేశాడు.
టైటిల్: పులస విలువ ఎంత?
ఓ రోజు సాయంత్రం వీరయ్య అనే వ్యక్తి తన భార్యని మరియు పదేళ్ళ కొడుకుని వెంట బెట్టుకుని ఓ బంగళాలోకి వెళతాడు. ఆ బంగళాలో దొరసాని ఉంటుంది. ఆ కోట కాపలాదారులు వీరయ్యను మాత్రమే లోనికి రానిస్తారు. అప్పుడు వీరయ్య కొడుకు "అమ్మ, ఎప్పుడు వచ్చినా నాన్నను మాత్రమే లోపలికి పంపిస్తారు. మనల్ని మాత్రం బయటే ఆపేస్తారు, ఎందుకమ్మా?" అని అమాయకంగా అడుగుతాడు. అప్పుడు ఆమె కళ్ళల్లోంచి జలజలా నీళ్ళు కారతాయి. పులస విలువెంత? ఆ కుర్రాడి ప్రశ్నకున్న లోతు అంత? లేక ఆవిడ కన్నీళ్ళకున్న బరువంత?"
(సరిగ్గా గుర్తు లేదు గానీ సంతోష్ చెప్పింది దాదాపు ఇలానే ఉంటుంది)
"అంతే సర్" అన్నాడు సంతోష్. నేను ఏదో ఆలోచిస్తూ నా పెంట్ హౌస్ రూఫ్ వైపు చూస్తున్నా. "ఏమైంది సర్? నెరేషన్ ఓకేనా?" అని అడిగాడు. "నెరేషన్ వజ్ గుడ్. నాకు వేరే ఓ కొత్త ఐడియా తట్టింది" అన్నాను. వెంటనే సంతోష్ "అవునా!? చెప్పండి సర్. ఇన్స్టంట్ క్రియేటివ్ ఆలోచనలు బావుంటాయి" అన్నాడు. నేను సంతోష్ కళ్ళలోకి సూటిగా చూస్తూ "ఇందులోంచి మంచి ఎరోటిక్ థ్రిల్లర్ రాయచ్చు" అన్నాను. "ఓకే! చెప్పండి" అన్నాడు ఆసక్తిగా. అప్పటికప్పుడు అతనికి "పులస" మొదటి భాగం నెరేట్ చేశాను. "బావుంది సర్, రాయండి" అన్నాడు. "ఓ ఆరు భాగాల్లో ఫినిష్ చేయచ్చు" అన్నాను.
ఆ మరుసటి రోజు ఉదయాన్నే మొదటి భాగం పోస్ట్ చేశాను. అలా ఇరవై ఒకటి భాగాల వరకూ విజయవంతంగా ఈదుతూ చివరికి పుస్తక రూపంలో కూడా వచ్చేసింది పులస! మొదట మేల్ సెంట్రిక్గా స్టార్ట్ అయిన పులస, రత్నమాల పాత్ర రాస్తున్నప్పుడు "ఆమెలోని" నిగూఢ (ఎనిగ్మటిక్) వ్యక్తిత్వం వలన నాలోని రచయిత ఆమె వైపు ఇంక్లయిన్ అయిపోయాడు అండ్ రత్నమాల పాత్ర గురించి నా అంచనా తప్పు కాలేదు. ఇప్పటికీ రత్నమాల పాత్ర డిజైన్ చేసిన విధానం గురించి కొందరు మెసేజ్లు చేస్తున్నారు.
ఇదీ "పులస" కథ వెనకున్న కథ! అప్పుడే సంవత్సరం గడిచి పోయింది అంటే నమ్మటం కష్టంగానూ, భయంగానూ ఉంది.
"పుష్ప" చిత్రానికి రైటింగ్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్లో పని చేసిన శ్రీకాంత్ విస్సా గారిని ఓ మీటింగ్లో కలిసినపుడు ఆయన పులస గురించి ప్రత్యేకంగా మాట్లాడారు. డెరైక్టర్ @vjonathanEdward పులస కథ చదివాక కాల్ చేసి దాదాపు గంట మాట్లాడుకున్నాం. సీనియర్ దర్శకులు వంశీగారు.. మరెందరో నా రచనను ప్రశంసించడం ఎప్పటికీ మర్చిపోలేని ఓ మధురమైన అనుభూతి. @X లో మీరు అందించిన ప్రోత్సాహం వలనే ఇదంతా సాధ్యమైంది. థాంక్యూ ఆల్.

Did you know that India has six beautiful seasons? #Vasanta is spring, #Grishma is summer, and so on.#Varsha is the monsoon season, #Sharada is autumn, #Hemanta is early winter, and #Shishira is winter.
Indian people also wear clothes that are appropriate for the #season.
So, if possible, arrange a meeting with party spokespersons and ministers and ask them to exclusively speak about issues that benefit the people of India, the party, and your top leaders.
Lastly, don't trust a few #news channel anchors as they interact with all politicians. For example, I witnessed an #anchor who hosts a show at ten o'clock at night for a prominent #Hindi news channel meeting with a top leader from #Haryana while I was there at an event for top leaders.
