I had a really great response to the survey the last week! Please help me keep the momentum going and reach a wider audience for my research into beliefs about ‘accommodation’ in #OCD

Stop referring to him as a "disgraced movie producer". He's a rapist. Pure and fucking simple. No one calls Peter Sutcliffe a disgraced lorry driver, do they? No.
@gerbillady I do this. Last one was for manslaughter for leaving false nail glue on the floor in a hotel and a child ate it. Never mind the fact I hadn’t even left it there anyway 🤔
Tonight I attended my first #OCD support group & I’m not sure I can summon the words to describe how valuable it’s been.
I’m not saying this for dramatics but it may have saved my life. To be in a room full of people that know how cruel OCD is, that just get it. I feel hope
@its0kaytotalk Horrendous 😩 few years back a nurse came out to me who was experienced in Peri-natal OCD I said every time I look at my child who I love very much I see the word cunt. Not a word I’ve ever said obvs. She nearly fainted. It doesn’t help #ocd
Do you ever use a scene for people to see what OCD is like? I described mine as The Upside Down Place from Stranger Things and I think it finally resonated with people that it’s not dusting and organising. #OCDTalkHour
@LilyBaileyUK For me the difference between moving between office financial work to working in the creative industry has been a game changer. 10 years office based and didn’t tell a soul not comfortable enough now drama and arts I find they couldn’t give a flying f@ck.
@LucyENichol This happens to me too but mine is more what if I physically can’t. I have almost 50 year track record of being able to swallow yet it still freezes me sometimes x
